Does anyone have just Roadrunner? No basic cable service or anything else.

If so, have you tried to put a splitter to connect a TV to find out if you get "basic" cable?

I believe yo uhave to have basic cable to get Road Runner.

if you call time warner they give you an option for just roadrunner no cable, but it would be more expensive....

I do...I've tried it, but the picture isnt very good and I only got like 20 channels or something.

Thanks guys..

I'm considering changing to DirectTV, but I'm looking at all the angles.

I can save 5.00 a month by not paying for the "local" stations option from DirectTV. Just a thought....

Thanks again

I saved by getting a dish for free from a guy who didn't use direct tv anymore.

My brother has directv and I paid him a few extra bucks to add "another" room to his house. Got that box with programmed card and we split the bill now even though we live 50 plus miles away. Ghetto for sure but good for a college student.

Look for a friend who already has DTV and an extra dish. :)

How long ago did the guy last use his dtv dish/account? Do you know if you can get sunday ticket on more than one box or is it more for having it sent to an extra box?

I'm rather curious on how that would work with the old box that I have from about 6 years ago..
