Timmy MacMahon talks Cowboys - Kia Sportstalk - 5/28/08

Only thing really of note is that apparenly Romo said he thinks Glenn will play at a pro bowl level this year. He said he thinks Romo was overselling it, but that's what Romo said.

He has to be overselling it.

If not, we need to see about getting Romo's head examined. No offense to his career, but Glenn has never been at a "Pro Bowl" level even when healthy, let alone on a knee begging for microfracture surgery.

If you'd told people last year that Greg Ellis would have made the pro bowl, even in training camp when he was still rehabbing his achilles, they'd have laughed.

Touche.

Hey, I believe in miracles. It's a miracle we signed an undrafted FA QB back in 2003 who became our starter in 2006 & now IMHO is one of the top (and most exciting) players in the NFL. It's a miracle that Greg Ellis was able to not only come all the way back from an achilles injury but also has a pro bowl year. Since sometimes these things for in 3's, why not hope that Terry Glenn can come all the way back for 1 more year & help take us to a SB win the year before we move into our new Super Bowl stadium.

After all, as someone else pointed out, if we can bring in a player most all NFL fans believe can distract/destroy a team in TO but he turns around to become a team leader & have a pro bowl season, it's a miracle. If we can bring in a first rounder who was suspended for various crimes but who seems not only to have turned it around but now is being seen as a leader on the team in Tank Johnson, that's a miracle. Now comes Pacman Jones. Why not another miracle in turning him around.

We are the Dallas Cowboys. Yes, I believe in miracles.

Tery Glenn has been to the Pro Bowl (99). So he has been a Pro Bowl player.
