Today’s game plan

I’m very optimistic about the season. I love having players that want to make a name for themselves. Sometimes they play harder than the ones that already have made that name. I’m still remember the first season with Prescott and Company. Dink dunk methodical football. Don’t give them more to do than they can. If The coaching staff can remember this , I think we can have a great season. Go cowboys. Smash Mouth football run it down their throats.

This is another reason I think they start out a bit conservative. Get the young players in the flow of the game. The starters have not seen any action yet. So they need time also. Get in a few series before they open it up or get more aggressive.

-Start deep in our own territory
-Run on first
-Roll out incomplete pass on 2nd
-3rd down dump off
-Short punt and Bucs already in our territory

Why so down about it?
Easy to think they will do the same.
However,
New year, new thoughts, some new players. I don't think in a negative way that things will be the same way.
And if they go 3 and out, I WILL NOT panic. But I can see the game thread melt down now.

I wouldn’t say down. But this team is notorious for slow starts and playing well later in games! This is a defense first team so I don’t think the Bucs have a great day offensively.

I think the win/loss will hinge on a guy like Brett Maher. Those 60+ field goal attempts that flip field position are key

Front office did very little this off-season and k expect very little from this team.

Probably the typical wildcard cowboys season where our QB is a no show when we need him in big moments against good teams.

Problem is we dont have the 2016 Oline anymore. Below average line at this point. And Zeke is a shadow of himself.

And oh yah, we are playing the #1 run defense in the NFL today.

BS, I just asked you to refrain from the hate until they play. But all you want to do is start arguments. Look in the mirror, you are the one that can't take the criticism.

You make it tough to contradict that.

The way I see the quality win thing with this schedule, they either overcome that or it'll be a long year. There will be no smoke and mirror 12 win deal this time around.

So the way I see it, they ought to be playoff ready by January, or they will miss them entirely.

If there's any good news it's that Elliott has started strong out of the gate the last couple of years.

It won't last beyond week six, but thats another story.

The OL is of course the biggest question....but I can see them being ok in the run game. Pass protection is a problem. But never know, maybe they click as a unit.

If Moore is as predictable as he has shown he can be at times, we are in trouble. He has to be better.
