Man, this draft really pisses me off because the guys I really want on the team are not in our draft pick 'area code'

I like Carimi, Ingram, Watt in the first round but not at #9 simply because they're not elite top ten talents. But the top ten talents this year really don't do much for me. I'd rather trade down and get one of these underrated, solid, work-hard ***-kickers then a really talented but untrustworthy prima donna. But then trading down can become a slippery slope and you miss out on one guy you really want and you keep going lower and lower and end up with Robert Brewster and Jason Williams.

I read somewhere else that his times ranged from 4.50 - 4.56. He's an Emmitt clone.

I recall reading the paper the day after Emmitt's pro day. His reported time was 4.52.

Meh, this guy played in a pretty public place.

I don't think scouts or cameras are really the issue.

Maybe his own gear but me-thinks there's some rounding down with the home town clocks across the nation.

Doesn't make me wonder at all because those are hand-timed. There are literally 20-25 scouts at these pro days (especially for the major schools like Alabama) and each scout has his own stop watch and you'll get a whole range of times. All it takes is the player's agent to find a scout with the lowest time and he sends a press release with that time.

I was cracking up today reading how some lineman ran a 5.27 at the combine and then a 5.1 at his pro day. Lol, that's almost .3 of a second faster... That's like running a 4.7 at the combine and then running a 4.4 forty.

It's a joke. The combine times are the official times to stick with.
