Two very solid picks. Hope they get as much playing time that we can afford to give them. Sometimes you have to let the young guys play so you can see what they're made of.

If they show they are NFL ready in the preseason .

I dont want to rush them and fail , ease them in and if they can prove , let them have at it.

Tolbert will get his chance while Gallop is out. Ferguson may be brought a long more slowly, as they will push Schultz, as he got the paycheck. But they can work him in more slowly that way also. He should get his playing time though, if he shows up in TC & PS games.

Fergusons rank is more impressive since it's mostly against better competition. Both are pose exciting possibilities though.

I have to admit googling P5 and G5. I had no idea what those mean. Now I do, but next month I'll have forgotten.

Need 2 tes in cowboys offense. I say he gets plenty of reps this year.

Hopefully Dak's accuracy improved. That will result in less drops as well.

What this says to me is that both are capable of being solid contributors. What they need is an OC that can figure out how best to use them and a QB that will get them the ball when they are the best option.

True, Moore has get his head out of rear and work at things which work and repeat it . I think he would have gotten the message as none of the HC interviews for him were anywhere close. He is no “Gimmicks” wonder boy , he has to show he can outhink and get his team execute better against physicals defenses like SF.

If Ferguson blocks well, he'll get time as the second tight end. If not, we'll see more of Sprinkle than any of us like.

In an thread (a couple of months ago?) someone showed that CeeDee only had 4 drops all season.

Yes I realize that, but for now we have to go with Sprinkle or even MCKeon as well. Until we see Ferguson on the field, I will go with the players that we have seen. However I am rooting for him to be a huge success.

I feel that way about all of our rookies. It can be hard not to sometimes, but generally we don't need to get too excited until they show us there is reason. We've had players all the way from first-rounders (Taco) to seventh-rounders fail to succeed on this level. I think we all like to play what-if, but sometimes we take it beyond that to building expectations.

We just franchised a guy and resigned the other to a long term deal who’s coming of a late season all tear and these 2 guys who we drafted in the middle rounds are pretty close to being the same players. They were also drafted in the same round as one another. There was no need to get stupid with the signing and tagging but hey, that’s the way this franchise has been pissing money away for years.

I'm curious to see how we look without Amari on the field. We are going to have both of these guys be productive when they get opportunities. If not Lamb is going to be taken out of every game by DC's.
