I think Tom Brady's next move after this season should be to the Las Vegas Raiders. Nevada, like Florida, has no state income tax. Josh McDaniels understands Brady. The offense fits what Brady likes. Brady grew up in nearby California. The lights of Vegas would be very attractive to Brady. Also, it'd be perfect symmetry with the Tuck Rule for him to join the Raiders. Plus, him.and Mahomes in the same division would be a money making machine for the AFC West. I think it's the perfect move.

Would the Raiders even do it? Carr is 31. Brady is an antique. He's got what, 1, 2 years left?

I think they would for 2-3 reasons. 1. Josh McDaniels knows Brady well. 2. They might be convinced that a change of scenery is needed as the Bucs supporting cast is bad, but Brady still has a decent arm. 3. They have an offense that would suit Brady well.

Even if everything you say is true, and I have no reason to believe it isn't, Carr is 31 and Brady is 145. They'd have to hope to win a SB in the next year or two based on the difference between Brady and Carr. Which is far less than the difference between Brady and Winston. Then the Raiders have no QB.

I'm also not convinced the Raiders have a better supporting cast than the Bucs. The Raiders didn't get shut out last week because Carr sucks. They have issues. Brady's issues right now is offensive line. If they get that worked out, they may be a problem.

Since they lost 3 OL's in the offseason, it's highly doubtful there is anything to be worked out.

Me too. I was doing best case scenario. Because you know people will challenge it.
Brady has been slowly losing his skills for several years now. Casual fans mostly don't notice because they seldom actually watch the games.

Brady can still zing it at times, but in your 40's what happens first is that you can't make a bunch of hard throws. You become severely limited as to how many throws you have in you.

Plus, Brady can no longer take hits, and he knows it. They don't show those multiple plays that are becoming more and more common where Brady throws it into the dirt immediately after the snap.

He's done and he knows it. And he also is well aware that this TB team is far from good enough anyway.

McDaniels might not be in Vegas next season considering how poorly the Raiders are underperforming.

I think Tom will continue playing as long as teams are interested. He's already sacrificed his family. Why not keep playing? But, he will be cherry picking for sure. He's not going anywhere he doesn't think he can win. He might just stay in Tampa since he has offensive weapons there and Tampa can certainly add to those in the offseason. Brady is really missing Gronk this year.
