The recent Area 51 stuff going around, along with the Bob Lazar stuff popping up again got me interested in some of this stuff again. I have never been a hardcore UFO or ET guy, but I definitely think it's more likely than not that other species exist. I really liked Stargate SG:1, because it took a spin that all of our ancient Gods were in fact aliens with advanced tech, which really makes a lot of sense, in my mind. With that said, the show Ancient Aliens is a big joke and I could never get into it.
Anyways, I stumbled upon some of the Tom DeLonge stuff recently. He used to be the guitar player in Blink 182, a pop punk band from the late 90s, if you aren't familiar. People wrote him off as a crackpot, because he claimed to have inside information from a lot of insiders in the government. Then, the Wikileaks Clinton Emails came out a few years ago, and there were emails from DeLonge and high ranking officials, confirming what he was saying.
After this, the government released the 3 famous fighter pilot UFO videos, and DeLonge started a company called To The Stars Academy, which publicly aligned him with some very respectable people, who had high ranks in the government.
Basically, they are claiming that they will begin releasing information through various media formats to "soften the blow" and eventually lead to full disclosure of what the government has.
Personally, I don't buy it. I think the world at large has been sufficiently softened through various sci fi shows, movies, and books becoming main stream over the last 60+ years. I think there is something more dubious at play, but can't figure out what their angle is.
This guy's YT videos sum it up:
What do you guys think?
