The recent Area 51 stuff going around, along with the Bob Lazar stuff popping up again got me interested in some of this stuff again. I have never been a hardcore UFO or ET guy, but I definitely think it's more likely than not that other species exist. I really liked Stargate SG:1, because it took a spin that all of our ancient Gods were in fact aliens with advanced tech, which really makes a lot of sense, in my mind. With that said, the show Ancient Aliens is a big joke and I could never get into it.

Anyways, I stumbled upon some of the Tom DeLonge stuff recently. He used to be the guitar player in Blink 182, a pop punk band from the late 90s, if you aren't familiar. People wrote him off as a crackpot, because he claimed to have inside information from a lot of insiders in the government. Then, the Wikileaks Clinton Emails came out a few years ago, and there were emails from DeLonge and high ranking officials, confirming what he was saying.

After this, the government released the 3 famous fighter pilot UFO videos, and DeLonge started a company called To The Stars Academy, which publicly aligned him with some very respectable people, who had high ranks in the government.

Basically, they are claiming that they will begin releasing information through various media formats to "soften the blow" and eventually lead to full disclosure of what the government has.

Personally, I don't buy it. I think the world at large has been sufficiently softened through various sci fi shows, movies, and books becoming main stream over the last 60+ years. I think there is something more dubious at play, but can't figure out what their angle is.

This guy's YT videos sum it up:

What do you guys think?

What if we are the aliens? We could have left Mars or somewhere due to the planet dying to recolonize. Maybe we evolved from alien DNA that traveled to Earth via an asteroid or comet

Anyways, I am a firm believer that there is life out there but we will probably never know. It is all but certain that it is a mathematical improbability that we are alone. The Universe is far to vast for nothing else to exist in some life form or another.

There could have been another planet millions/billions of years ago that was dancing with life, more or less advanced. That planet is now a dead rock or a ball of ice, gas, whatever.

There could be organisms out there that need hydrogen, nitrogen, any other element to survive. Carbon may not be important to them but silicon is vital.

There could be another Earth-like planet that is created millions of years from now and they wonder the same thing as us.......is there life out there?

So many questions and possibilities to ponder........

There is actually some really interesting theories brought up in that show. Yeah, a good chunk of it you have to take with a grain of salt, and some of it is a super big stretch, but they do bring up some interesting topics that make you think.

I can't tell you how often I have thought about this exact same thing. Very good chance we came from somewhere else. What if we have ancestors that exist somewhere that we don't know about? What if we lived on, say Mars, and destroyed it (much like we are doing with this very Earth) and had to leave and seek refuge somewhere else? All possibilities, because, well we have no idea about our origin.

I've never been a gigantic extraterrestrial life super-fan but I do believe something has to be out there. Questions are............where are they? How far are they? Do they know we exist? Do we all exist during the same time period?
