Where has he gone in our passing game? In 4 out of our last 5 games he's been targeted no more than 4 times and has 3 or fewer catches in those games.

Whether it's poor blocking or poor vision, he's not getting it done between the tackles. Hopefully they plan to get him more involved in the screen/short passing game going into the playoffs. Running him into a brick wall over and over isn't going to get the job done.

This offense minus the emergence of CDL has seemed to really struggle to hit it's full potential under year one with MM/BS at the helm.

Cook has been underused most of the year, Ferguson over the middle, RB's in the passing game and the appearance of going away from the outside zone blocking scheme that the team primarily used the prior 3 years+.
I really haven't seen too many runs start to the outside where the RB can see if a hole opens in the middle to cut back to. It seems like they are designed gap runs, which to date haven't been too successful.

Teams are showing blitz , and bringing it.
Forces RB to stay in

Motion Pollard to slot vrs a LB...be a good match up
Leave Luepke in to pick up the blitz

It's the same thing we have said all year long. Bad schemes and bad play calling.

You could run Emmitt Smith on these plays and he wouldn't gain any more yards than Pollard.

When any RB is consistently hit at or behind the line of scrimmage the play won't end well.

It's nearly exactly the same issue Zeke had last year. This line and scheme are simply not good enough to have productive dependable run game.

Taking Pollard off his best game is showing it.

Here's where he's gone....... Prescott back to pass, sees TP in the flats, Prescott sees a defender INCHES away from TP running at full speed, Prescott stupidly throws it to him, BANG!!!!! This is our passing to TP in a nutshell, yet other teams do it and have success at it, Dak is better off throwing it out of bounds

he was perfect in his back up role, being lightning to a thunder. as a starter he is not all that, given he was never a primary back and didn't have to carry a team. he has quickness and speed, but lacks true vision and doesn't use the blocking to take advantage, something Zeke was really good at (but he lost quickness and speed and couldn't physically do it any more).

we have to draft a RB next year.
