Was 10 degrees F this morning. Sheesh. It was colder in Minnesota though. 1 degree there.

Not today, my friend. They're gonna be like the Grinch, with their hearts growing 3 sizes, for a day or two.....then 3x more annoying for another year.

Unseasonably warm out here in Northern CA where it will be in the high 60's and low 70's this week. This is not good since we don't have much snow. Could be in a long spring and summer of drought.

Unseasonably warm out here in Northern CA where it will be in the high 60's and low 70's this week. This is not good since we don't have much snow. Could be in a long spring and summer of drought.

That's the flipside of all this... Not having a winter (at least a period where it's really, really wet) throws the monkey wrench into the works when it comes to having a reliable supply of water.

What's going on in Capetown right now is downright scary. And there are American cities that aren't that far behind.

I groan when I have two weeks of temps less than 30 degrees here in western New York... But we'll never have a water issue and that I'm grateful for.

It is 37 degrees here to me that is cold but it is better than 112 degrees
