Signed a 2 year contract (had been month to month) and got a "free' HTC HD-7. Love it!
First thing I did was sign up for Netflicks. (sp?)

Glad to see some of you guys took it up as well.

I'm a longtime T-Mobile fan. I know a lot of people don't like it, but I've never had any problems with cell coverage or customer service, and they have great plans.

How do you like the HD7? (Just so you know, the phone can easily be "modded" with the android platform if you would rather use that. It takes about 25 minutes to do, and is very easy to set up. You don't need any technical knowledge. Just search any of the 100 videos on youtube explaining it)

Windows isn't bad, I'm just more familiar with Android so I modded mine. It works great.

the Wimdows 7 system is very fast. I love the phone so far, much better reception for the Web and GPS signal from what I had. like you I have been with T-Mobile for about 12 years and have never had a problem getting service any where I've gone. just watch your battery. I almost ran mine out watching some B-movie from net-Flix. :)

I took advantage of the offer as well.

Got myself the Mytouch G4 and I frickin' LOVE IT! Huge upgrade from the Mytouch G3.

My GF got herself the G2 (she likes having a keyboard). We are both very happy with our free phones. I've had T-Mobile for about 10 years now, and nothing changed price wise in my plan doing this, so it really was just as easy as going to the store and getting a free phone.

I'm 10x more blown away with it than I was when I got my Mytouch G3.
Everything is so smooth and browsing the internet is nearly as fast as doing it on my PC.

Reading forums on my G3 I really took time to consider whether or not I wanted to click on certain threads and wait for them to load. With the G4 it's no problem at all and there isn't any really noticeable load time for webpages. Even image intensive ones like youtube etc.

The Camera is awesome, the led flash works great. And I've just started with apps so I'll get back to ya on that.

Loving the Flash light app lol.

not sure if the G4 is for me...I had a blackberry bold and have become very used to it

I am having trouble downloading from the net on the G4... I like features of both phones.... I took the white phone since they didn't have any black left so on wed. if I dont like it they said they will give me the new bold

so I have a few days to play around with it

I'ma thinking I may take a chance on the Echo when it comes out. I know it's 3G, but internet on the go isn't an issue to me (my current phone is no G).
