Top 75 Undrafted players of all-time

Romo should be higher. 4th highest rated QB of all time is not the 16th best undrafted player. I understand they gave the edge to players that have finished their careers, but Tony and Antonio Gates should both be top 10.

I gotta run but if Drew Pearson, Cliff Harris, Cornell Green, and Pettis Norman aren't on the list then the writer doesn't know much about NFL History.

You could have 2 members of the 90's OL in Tuinei and Newton.

Romo and Austin are both worthy.

So is Everson Walls and Bill Bates.

I am sure I am forgetting someone too. Bottom line we are the best in the NFL at finding UDFA diamonds.

I completely forgot about Austin. He should be on there also.

Austin has to prove last year wasn't a fluke before he's on that list. He's only had one season of note.

That's true.

Should be "aren't on the list"?

How do kickers make that list? I'm pretty sure they're supposed to go undrafted anyway. Like you expect to get franchise QBs in the first round, and "oh wow undrafted? Awesome! That's pretty special!"

Aren't most kickers 6th-UDFA?

I'm going to go out on a limb and say it wasn't a fluke.

Gil Brandt is the writer.
Impressive list.

Romo is in the right spot.

Austin was only good because Witten was drawing all the triple coverage and Roy Williams was drawing all the.......................

Just you watch, teams have exposed Austin now, his fluke year will not be remembered.

I don't think it was a fluke either but the point is a player has to produce more than one good season to be on any all time list that only includes 75 players.

Nate Newton was actually on the list.

Anyway, I never knew Reggie Rucker was a Cowboy in any way, and I remember him! As a Brown of course. He was pretty darned good. I was sitting in my watering hole tonight drinking away, and chatting with the guy next to me. Coincidentally, he was telling me he is the cousin of one Reggie Rucker, a former Cowboy, after I proved to him my being a die hard fan of the Cowboys (with all kinds of stuff lol)...he is a Commanders fan (I'm in Alexandria, VA, so go figure) I told him that I had no idea Rucker was ever affiliated with the Cowboys in any way and he told me "LOOK IT UP!" And then I come home, hit the boards, and see this post. And lo and behold, Rucker's name as a Cowboy is right there. I guess he really must have been Reggie's cousin. His name was Rob, that's all I know.

Is this a joke?

The list should be broken into 2 groups... B4 7 rounds and after! Romo and the rest of the guys from this era would have been drafted!

Now watch someone will say Romo wasn't good enough to get drafted in a 12 round draft!

I wouldn't have considered Rucker or Zorn as Cowboys because they hung their skins on the wall in other cities. There is some merit to that though. The Cowboys discovered them. I think Coy Bacon was a Cowboys discovery too.

Cool story about his cousin.
