1) Rome Odunze (WR - Washington)

The Huskies end the season with an unblemished record of 12-0 after a last-second victory over rival Washington State in the Apple Cup. Odunze almost singlehandedly caught his team to victory with another great performance. He finished the contest with seven receptions for 120 yards and two TDs. Odunze also took a reverse 23 yards on 4th-and-1 late in the final quarter, helping move Washington into field-goal position.

He finished the regular season with 73 receptions, 1,326 receiving yards, and 13 TDs, his second season with more than 1,000 yards receiving. Odunze has shown incredible consistency and progress in this game over the past two years. Entering the season graded as a late third-round selection, Odunze now grades as a top-42 prospect and will compete to be the second receiver drafted next April.

2) Chris Braswell (Edge - Alabama)

Braswell, who is a redshirt junior, was on a lot of watchlists in the scouting community entering the season. Known as a freak athlete with great testing numbers, Braswell was more athlete than a football player with a combined 34 tackles and three sacks during his freshman and sophomore campaigns, yet he is now transitioning his great physical ability into football production and his game has taken off this season.
He ends the 2024 regular season with 40 tackles, 10.5 TFLs, and eight sacks. Braswell was all over the field during the victory over Auburn, which kept Alabama’s playoff hopes alive and forced the action with his ability to penetrate the line of scrimmage. Braswell is far from a finished product, yet he offers tremendous upside potential, and his game is headed in the right direction.

3) Ben Sinnott (TE - Kansas State)

The Wildcats lost a tough game to Iowa State by a score of 42-35 in snowy conditions, yet it was not due to lack of effort by Sinnott. The pass-catching tight end led the contest with 10 receptions and accounted for 136 receiving yards with one TD. He was the favorite target of KSU quarterback Will Howard this season, totaling 49 receptions, 676 yards, and six TDs.
Sinnott has outstanding size (6-foot-4, 243 pounds), speed (4.65s in the 40) and pass-catching hands. He’s not a poor blocker, though that area of his game needs improvement, and Sinnott moves towards the draft as a legitimate Day 2 prospect.

4) Jarius Monroe (CB - Tulane)

Monroe has been a favorite of mine for the past three years, and he further affirmed my faith in him Friday. Against the high-octane UTSA passing game, Monroe broke up three passes and added seven tackles. For the regular season, he has 45 tackles, eight PBUs, and two INTs, solid ball production considering opposing quarterbacks purposely throw away from him.

Monroe has next-level size at 6-foot-1, 205 pounds, terrific ball skills, and a physical game. I grade him as a mid-round choice, as the senior can play in man coverage and line up in a zone scheme as well as play special teams.

5) Christian Jones (OT - Texas)

Jones was someone who caught my eye early in his career at Texas when he was the team’s starting left tackle. His game did not progress as much as I hoped -- until this season. Jones has found a home for himself at right tackle and has done a terrific job

He’s a fundamentally sound blocker who has played through injury this season to stand out in pass protection and run blocking. Handed a late-round grade by scouts over the summer, Jones is moving toward the middle rounds based on his play in 2023.

I don't get the odunze hype.
I have watched his last 3 games and all he does is make clutch plays and consistently beat double coverage. Proto type body at 6:3 and 215. Have said if he runs well at the combine he is an easy 1st rounder. And BTW Kalen DeBoer their excellent HC said in an interview after the WSU game that he purposely put the ball in his hands to win the game because "he is their best player". High praise when you consider UW has three other players in consideration for the first two rounds of the draft.

We can disagree. I think my track record gives me the right to my opinion. We'll see.

Top 2024 NFL Draft Risers after Week 14

1) JC Latham (OT - Alabama)

The Crimson Tide came away with the biggest upset of the weekend, snapping Georgia’s 29-game unbeaten streak to win the SEC title. And it was their offense that pushed the Bulldogs defense around, coming up with timely drives to seal the victory. Latham was a standout at his right tackle spot and looked terrific all day.
The massive lineman blocks with tremendous fundamentals, power, and patience. He was dominant in blocking for the running game and protected his quarterback all four quarters. Latham plays like a first-round tackle, yet his frame, which is reportedly more than 360 pounds, is bound to raise red flags.

2) Roger Rosengarten (OT - Washington)

The Huskies won a close contest against Oregon in what is very likely the final Pac-12 football game in our lifetime. And in doing so, they cemented a spot in the college football playoffs. Washington racked up more than 480 total yards as well as 34 points, and their offensive line led the way. Rosengarten, their starting right tackle, was terrific in all areas of the game.

He was powerful blocking for the run, held his ground in pass protection, and looked phenomenal blocking in motion. Listed at 300 pounds even, Rosengarten looked incredibly athletic pulling across the line of scrimmage and getting out to the second and third level to remove Oregon defenders. Only a redshirt sophomore, Rosengarten presently holds a second-round grade on my board.

3) Byron Murphy II (DT - Texas)

The Longhorns overwhelmed Oklahoma State to win the Big 12 title, and Murphy was a consistent force during the contest, as he’s been all season long. The athletic defensive tackle was consistently penetrating the line of scrimmage and forcing OSU signal caller Alan Bowman to leave the pocket and improvise on the move.

Murphy is a solid run defender who is also effective in rushing the passer; the junior finished the season with five sacks from his defensive tackle spot.

Texas has a lot of talent on the defensive side of the ball, and Murphy is often overlooked, yet expect him to turn in great testing numbers and rocket up draft boards should he enter the draft.

4) Tatum Bethune (LB - Florida State)

Bethune first caught my eye and jumped on my draft board in 2020 when he accumulated 57 tackles playing for Central Florida. He transferred to FSU two years later and has been a mainstay in the Seminoles' defense since.

Bethune was consistently productive all season long and came up big during the Seminoles’ important games -- nine tackles in the season-opening victory over LSU, seven tackles in the win against Clemson, and another seven tackles against the rival Florida Gators.

Yet his performance against Louisville in the ACC title game was special. Bethune finished with eight tackles, broke up a pass, and also intercepted a throw. The interception could not have come at a better time, as Louisville was marching into the end zone late in the game for the tying score after the Seminoles turned the ball over.

Bethune showed terrific coverage skills and came away with the pick in what could be argued was the biggest play of the game.

He’s an undersized linebacker who measures 5 feet 11.5 and 225 pounds, yet he’s smart, fierce, and versatile. Bethune is football-fast and makes a lot of plays in pursuit or down the field. His 40-time will dictate whether or not he ends up in the later rounds, yet Bethune has enough ability to make an NFL roster as a nickel linebacker/special-teams player.

5) X'Zauvea Gadlin (G - Liberty)

Liberty finished the season with an undefeated record of 13-0 after defeating New Mexico State to win the Conference USA title. The Flames have one of the most prolific offenses in the nation, averaging more than 40 points and 514 yards per game, and it all starts up front.
Gadlin is a player who initially caught my eye in 2019 when he was the starting left tackle at Tulsa.

Gadlin is well-built (6-foot-3, 315 pounds), athletic and versatile. He’s lined up at both tackle spots as well as a guard during his college career and is explosive, strong, and moves well around the field. On several occasions during the title game, Liberty ran behind Gadlin at right guard when they needed a first down or were moving into the end zone.

Scouts are split on the senior, who I believe will get an NFL combine invite, yet his mobility and versatility should cement him as a Day 3 pick.

:lmao:

Your track record would be the reason you shouldn’t be allowed to post in this forum.

Folks, don’t ever let this goof forget that he crapped on the Parsons pick.
