1.6M on one house wouldn't cut it so he had to get another one for like 2.5M or whatever it was.

I never understand why these guys don't simply pay for the homes outright.

You don't need a mortgage when you are making 15 million in one year. At least 5 mil should be all his. Pay cash for that stuff. It's just stupid.

Appreciation on a home you paid $2.5 million for is, at best, negligible compared to what you should get as a return on your investment through a reliable wealth management professional. Similarly, you can utilize the interest you're paying on the home to your advantage.

FWIW, they get weekly or monthly paychecks like we do. I know we're always hearing how they get all this money, bit it pretty much works the same way. Big difference is that they have bigger toys.

There salary is paid that way but I believe they get the bonus money up front. So it's not like the big names are living from paycheck to paycheck. If they are they need to find a good money manager.
