TO's intentional end-zone facemask at 12 minutes was excellent, and unpenalized.

Last night, I saw TO intentionally grab the facemask of his defender in the endzone with 12 minutes left in the 1st half. They went up for the ball, and both missed, so TO (standing erect) reached up beside himself, grabbed the dudes facemask and yanked him into the turf as he came down from his jump.

It was slick as can be and very cool. The defender was facing the rear corner of rhe endzone, so no referee saw it, but the camera caught it. I tell you, I loved TO for that. He punished the defender for preventing the catch. Thanks, Eldorado. But do not get caught!

I saw it when it happened during the play and was wondering where the flag was...But I dont think it was an intentional facemask though. TO cant be our dirty player...Thats Roy(or so says Skins fans)

Yeah, he intended to do it. He reached up with his right hand, grabbed the lower face guard, and yanked the defender to the ground on purpose. It was very nice :) Like sleight-of-hand, actually.

I dont think that was a very smart play. That could have cost us 15 yards when we are sitting on the goal line... After he already cost us a first down with a penality. I bet he gets ripped a new in the film study for that play.

I agree not very smart but then I'm not sure it was done intentionally but could have and should have been called. Refs missed it thankfully

I agree - I doubt it was intentional. Some on this thread don't seem to realize that at the speeds the players play at in the NFL it isn't that rare for a hand to inadvertently get caught in another player's facemask. TO does and says some stupid things at times, but I don't think this was one of them. It was likely a fluke - an accident.

If it was intentional then it certainly isn't something fans on this board should be praising him for.

You guys are just saying that. T.O. would never do something to a defender who would purposefully try to hurt T.O. given the chance.

The refs were terrible last night, and this was another example of that. At times, their suckiness benefited us. At others, it helped the Panthers. Bottom line is they were terrible.

I did not find it cool or anything positive.

It was something that could have been called as a penalty and I did not view it as a int saving move.

So in the end IMO it was not cool, it was stupid.

Stop it.

Stop it right now.

I'm sure you don't realize how immensely stupid you sound when you mimic Grandpa Urine.

So free advice: save yourself credibility and stop using that lame nickname.

Uncalled stupid penalties are awesome.

Well the big issue on that play was that Romo threw a bad ball it was a fde it should have been up and out it was short and a floater and could/should have been a pick, his next throw however was great to Witten, it was boom, Witten makes a cut and the ball was hter almost before he turned around...

T.O. just reached out to try to battle for a jump ball and break up a possible interception due to Romo's poor throw.. His hand ended up catching the face mask. I don't think it was intentional at all. Still a bad play on T.O.'s part because it should have been a penalty.

That was cool but his holding penalty pissed me off so bad. I thought he was going to blow it for the second straight game. Romo came through though.

I'm not flaming this post, but that facemask was clearly intentional in my mind. It looked intentional in and of itself, but the look on Owens' face sealed it for me. He was like the cat that ate the canary.

Pesonally, I've been disappointed with TO with respect to many facets of the game. He's a half-hearted blocker, runs suspect routes, drops too many passes, and is averse to going across the middle and taking a shot. Don't get me wrong, he's been productive, but for that price tag I expect a little more.

It was intentional. He got away with it because he was aware of the referees positions, and its always kind of fun to non-chalantly whip another man's ***. Its a violent sport and a non-damaging foul. Stupid to do? Yes, especially in the red zone. But a nice slap in the face of a competitor, for sure.

??? Huh? Eldorado is his actual name, not his nickname. T.O. is his nickname, not his actual name. Credibility? You mean I need your high opinion of me? Or that I even value your opinion? You already called me "immensely stupid", which makes you a genetic sphincto-dwarf and a co-hort of my ex-wife. Phew, stinky.
