Free Agency- Sign OLB Azeez Al-Shaair 2 yr 12mil(6/yr) and RB Zack Moss 2yr 10mil(5/yr)

Resign- LT Tyron Smith, CB Stephon Gilmore, DE Dante Fowler Jr., DT Johnathan Hankins, RB Rico Dowdle

Let Walk/Cut- M. Gallup, T. Biadasz, N. Gallimore, C. Edoga, N. Igbinoghene, J. Lewis, J. Kearse, D. Armstrong, T. Pollard

Draft
1. LT- Jordan Morgan(6'5, 325) Arizona... Can sit and learn from Tyron for half a year or until he gets injured. He has amazing mirroring skills and footwork.
Trade- Dallas goes from 62 to Cardinals 71 and gets a high 4th round pick as compensation.
3(Trade). C- Jackson Powers-Johnson(6'3, 320)Oregon... Powerful Center who can anchor against heavier DT's which has been Biadasz biggest problem.
3. WR- Brenden Rice(6'3, 210) USC... X Receiver can battle with Tolbert for snaps, has decent speed and ball tracking skills. Jerry Rice's kid.
4(Trade). DE- Gabriel Murphy(6'3, 260) UCLA... losing D. Armstrong will probably net a 4th round comp pick next year Murphy slots right into his spot.
5(Comp). DT- Braden Fiske(6'5, 295) Florida State... more of a 3-tech to rotate with Osa, he has 21 sacks in his career.
6(Comp). LB- Tyrice Knight(6'2, 235) UTEP... can play Mike or Will LB with good speed and coverage skills. He was tied for 5th in NCAA in Tackles this year.
7. MLB Nathaniel Watson(6'2, 245) Miss State... Sheds blocks with ease, sure tackler, he is a superb pass rusher from his position; 10 sacks this year.
7. Slot CB- Beanie Bishop Jr.(5'10, 185) West Virginia... back up slot in case Bland misses time. Had 20 PBU's which led the nation and 4int's as well.

If I had to bet on a player the Cowboys would draft in the first this year, Jordan Morgan would be the favorite. I'm calling it now.
Dallas has architypes they follow when drafting certain positions and he fits the mold better than any of the bottom half O-lineman that would be available.
In my opinion anyway.

2025 Draft
1. WR Evan Stewart Texas A&M
2. RB Ashton Jeanty Boise State
3. CB Jordan Hancock Ohio State

Pretty nice mock.
Morgan is a great pick if he is still on the board. I have a feeling that he will rise after the combine and his workouts. Don't be shocked if he ends up going before Mims and Fuaga.

I can't imagine putting this much time into a mock draft before the season is over, and the Cowboys have clinched a playoff spot.

Pretty creative. Have my doubts about Powers-Johnson lasting to 71 though. OL much like QB tend to get over drafted if anything.

yeah, you might be right but you can always draft the West Virginia Center there if you think its unrealistic. Just wishful thinking, he could drop that far though.

Resign J. Lewis, for the value no one is better.
I agree with this. However, he will probably be going into his last contract before calling it quits. So he will want to cash in while he can. He hasn't really broken the bank and he has been serviceable in the slot. The league will pay him more than the Cowboys are willing to especially because Dak's restructure and CD's contract will put a strain on the cap next year. But if they can make it work I am all for resigning him.

I think Powers-Johnson and Frasier are pretty close in terms of where they will be drafted. Depends on what a team is looking for. Powers-Johnson is a mauler in the run game, but needs some work as a pass protecter. Frazier is a better all around athlete who can get out and block in space. Mid 2nd to early 3rd is close. I try not to get caught up in the rankings (especially simulator rankings) until after the combine.

Good players, but if the target is Powers-Johnson, you can't plan on trading down and hoping he's there.

One of my pet cats is Nathaniel Watson. Very productive and has good size for the MLB position.
