Davis wasn't that bad last season.

He wasn't great, nor did he play up to his contract - but he wasn't terrible by any means.

Oh good, let's create a hole at RG so we can fill LT. I guess the LT spot is a little harder to fill, but we already have an option there.

My mistake. I remember Mankins as a tackle in college, and I was just posting in the thread about who our starting LT would be, so my head was in the wrong place.

My mistake. I remember Mankins as a tackle in college, and I was just posting in the thread about who our starting LT would be, so my head was in the wrong place.

Last I knew he was playing LG for the Pats. If the intent is to make the roster stronger then you would keep Davis and make Kosier the swing guard/center on game day.

Mankins problem with the Pats is he dose not want to be paid less then the $56.7 million contract Jahri Evans got paying him 8 million per season. The Pats do not think he is worth that but offered him a deal that pays him on avg 7 million per.
