Just to have fun, I know there's money that can affect these deals, but let's go at it, it may never happen in this life. Let's see who knows!!

Gallup: value at a 5th or 6th round pick

S. Williams 5th (due to age and potential if there's any)

Nobody would trade for Gallup, I wouldn't think. Contract is too large.

Could we trade Martin? Asking about salary cap ramifications. I’m not advocating for it. I’m just curious.

I would trade Williams. I don’t believe he’s committed to football and with what happened with Gregory and Kelvin Joseph I just assume trade Williams instead of holding onto a guy for a couple more seasons that isn’t 100% in. I don’t know what we could get for him but anything is better than what he’s giving us right now.

To me the tradable players are:
  • Pollard (if we think we can't win)
  • Demarcus Lawrence (if we think we can't win)
  • Sam Williams (the dog needs to be freed)
  • Gallup (as a salary cap dump)
  • Kearse (as a salary cap dump)
  • Dorance Armstrong if we got a decent price
  • Golston if we got a decent price
Not advocating for any of that really but I don't think I'd consider anyone else unless we got an unrealistic price.

The Micah trade would be the best value. Is keeping him beating your chest that he's the best player who never wins anything good enough? just wondering. If you could trade him for somebody, something that would get you to the big party would it be worth it?

If they trade Martin they would get a CAP save this year under $1 million but next year they will take $24 million in dead money.

The question is why would you trade Martin in the middle of the season?

They have extra safeties. Maybe they could trade Malik Hooker, but he would not return much value.
