Rooks and vets report to the Oxnard CA site for camp on July 26. That is next week. I am soooo ready. It will be nice to start getting some hard news on players for a change. Start getting a feel for what we might really have in 2022. The first preseason game is August 13 against the Broncos. We are getting there!!

IMO it has been a very calm period for the team since the draft and the signing of the UDFA group. The only significant story seems to be the Dalton Schultz contract extension or like thereof. That should change in just a few short day.

We’ve been somewhat fortunate on injury front in terms of camp. I hope that continues

Thanks to the CBA teams rarely practice any more. That might explain the low number of injuries.

The level of activity is no where close to what it was back in the days when training camp was in Austin.

South Fort Worth for me.... on a good day with little traffic it would be close to an hour and a half. No thanks.

Yep, used to be the 2-a-days and padded practices pretty much right away. Now it is what, 3 or 4 practices in shells and helmets, no hitting before the real pads come on. Then it is limited hitting, and only what 13 or so actual padded practices.

They usually have a few open practices at Frisco. Also they may have an open practice at Jerry World. So much closer from South FW.

I am about 12 to 15 minutes (6.5 miles) from Jerry World and no traffic but a good amount of traffic lights, and 30 minutes or so from Frisco.
1st 7 lights to Jerry World usually hit green, and is about half the distance or so, maybe 2/3. Then the next 5 or whatever, just depends at times. Frisco mostly highway.

So we will know you are not serious if we see you posting before then.
As you just did.
Cue the I don't care responses, but they do care by responding and wasting bandwidth. :lmao2:

Naw, there's plenty of posts all offseason long that I've typed out responses only to delete them. Not worth my time. and ya, I am starting to not really care about this team anymore. It's sad. I cried as a kid when I watched Dwight Clark make The Catch. I lived, died and defended this team for many years. Anymore, I am just numb. and no, I am not going to cheer on another team. I don't watch much football outside of the Cowboys anyway. Games are too long. Too many flags. Too many commercials. Too many silly rules. I find myself putting on Cowboys games on my TV in my garage while I am woodworking or working on my Harley. It's background noise. It's sad because I remember caring. I remember getting ready all week to grill/smoke a great meal for the game on Sunday. This is my view right now. Now, when the air turns colder and the smell of a crisp and cold Friday night takes me back to my glory days, will I get excited about Cowboys football? Probably. and yes, I'll cheer this team on only to be disappointed at the end of the year to start this toxic cycle all over again...

I used to thank Jerry for my misery with this team. Now I realize it's just me and one day, I'll will walk away from the toxicity but it's not this day...yet.

Do you mean high number of injuries? Because the players don't get as conditioned for the hits as they used to be.

Dak has to get this team going on the first drives of the game. Stop falling behind.

Zeke has to be a top 3 back again.

Someone has to step up and play Nose Tackle.

Ol needs to stop the penalties. And be more consistent.

Lamb' s production from last year has to be reproduced as the #1. Someone in that WR room not named CD has a chance to do big things. Hope they can/ do.
