Trenches on both sides struggling against the Rams in practice

It’s a two sided coin…one the hand, it’s training camp and we have a completely new coaching staff, lots of new players. Takes time.

The other side of that coin is we’ve seen this movie before when it comes to the trenches.
From what I saw the the Rams overall looked more aggressive. They played to win
Possible all this Parsons/Jerry drama has impacted the team. (Not saying for sure since it's a scrimmage, but it's possible)

Some thoughts/observations from the #Cowboys joint practice with the #Rams: - Overall, certainly not the best day for the Cowboys on either side of the ball. Offensively, the run game struggled to get much going. Defensively, Davante Adams, Puka Nacua and Tutu Atwell had a lot of success for the Rams. - The Dak Prescott to George Pickens and CeeDee Lamb connections are as advertised. LA's corners had trouble with them and you can tell it'll open things up for Dallas this season since you can only do so much to cover them both. - Thought the Cowboys did better against the run than I initially expected. Jack Sanborn and Marist Liufau had some good fits, and Perrion Winfrey had the highlight of the day bringing down Kyren Williams for a loss after beating a double team. - Jared Verse is a straight up monster. The Cowboys offensive line had their hands full with him and didn't come up with many answers. He's going to be a great player for a long time in this league. - Still a lot of Brock Hoffman at left guard, but Tyler Smith was still suited up. They're being careful with him, but again nothing serious expected there. Mazi Smith was back in after getting injured yesterday. Cowboys aren't too concerned about Joe Milton, who banged his hand on a helmet. - Cowboys were pretty vanilla as expected on both sides of the ball. For example, a lot of quick game on offense and not a whole lot of movement from pass rushers, with Donovan Ezeiruaku pretty much exclusively bull rushing and not utilizing any pass rush moves, at least from what I saw.

3 offensive lineman out, and the best pass rusher in the league is holding out. What do you expect?
