I thought that Trent Williams headbutt to Micah in last years playoff game was a personal foul. Micah had to leave for concussion protocol. The QB had already gotten rid of the ball and Trent used his helmet as a weapon to headbutt Micah.

maybe I'm trippin, but that play, and it's (perceived) lingering effects on Micah the rest of the game, rarely gets mentioned.

I'm still waiting for our resident ref apologists to come in and explain how that should not have been called because Parsons a rip under move which makes it legal to put him in a choke hold. It's in the rule book yaknow.

If Parsons shows up at the height of his powers, I don't even think Trent Williams is capable of shutting him down.

Of course, unless like you said they let Williams put Micah in a rear naked choke 2 seconds before the ball is even snapped every down.

Trent was also Moving his outside foot pre snap A LOT and it should have been flagged a few times. I'd have to double check but I clearly remember him doing this and our guys jumping offsides due to his movement.

We better be playin some really good ball to overcome all the negatives that can occur during the game.... meaning bad plays, stupid mistakes and the officials.

Rushing Trent Williams is no way to make a living. I hope Quinn is smart enough to move Micah around and not just leave him their on a island with the all-pro tackle.

He much did this every passing down and it was never called. I can't imagine McCarthy and co won't be reminding the refs about it multiple times before the game..

I still can't believe they let this fly the entire game.

I do not believe in NFL officiating conspiracies, but this game was one of those moments that made me understand why some people believe them.

If there is anything that we can take hope from it's the fact that they didn't let Smith get away with the choke hold on Parsons on that first pass play Monday night. To me it signaled that we were gonna get a fair shake from the Zebras that night. We'll see if they allow Williams to get that half second head start early on. That will be a pretty good indicator of how they're gonna call things that day.
