Usually I've been more involved in reading and studying about the up coming draft but this year kinda been flying by for me so I am just curious to what everyone thinks about the strength of this years draft. From everything I have seen it's just an ok to somewhat weak value draft, meaning not too deep in talent. I am always a fan of quality over quantity. I'd rather get 2 starters and 1 bench player than 1 starter and 4 bench players but thats just me.
I would love if we traded up and got who we wanted and wasted a 3rd and a 4th or a 5th who probably wouldnt contribute or even be on the team in 2 years. If we nail our 1st rounder with a top 15 pick and still are able to keep our 2nd rounder to me thats worth every other pick in the draft if we wanted to do so. To get a top 10 players and a starter along the line wether defense or offense is worth it more than just a bunch of trash backups who won't be around for the next 3 years anyways.

Position wise Edge rusher is pretty deep. Overall the meat of the draft is in the 20 to 40-45 range. There are no blue chip players this year.

OL is deepest but DE is most talented.
But the real gems at DE are way above what we can get without giving up the farm.
