Nice Job Jerry must have made a last minute offer.
You can also tell DQ has a special bond with the players they leave it all on the field for him.

Now find a real OL coach and I'll be thrilled.

Methinks he wants to be head coach of the Dallas Cowboys. Might get that chance after one more season.
I think so Jerry probably told Quinn this is a do-or-die yr for MM its SB or not.

He probably wanted the denver job because the defense talent is there and he has a relationship with Russ and maybe thinks he’s salvageable (wrong or right) and they still have weapons on offense.

You take the interviews just because these jobs are so hard to come by but once denver was leaning Ryan or Payton that was enough for him to back out

I think this has to be it
Jerry problem indicated that if it doesn’t happen this year he will be ready to make a change at HC and QB

Getting paid great money to do what he loves.

Quinn turned 52 on the opening Sunday this season past.
So he can be the Cowboys DC for two or three more years (hopefully as the team wins a couple of league titles)....yet still be in demand for HC opporrunties while being in his mid-50s.

I think he struck out again in Denver, and he knew he wasnt getting the AZ job either, so to save face he comes back and says he's not interested in any other jobs. despite all that I'm glad he's back

"Jerry this is DQ."
"What can I do for ya Dan?"
"Fire George while I am in AZ and give me a raise."
"Done."

I'm sure DQ was on his way and as soon as Jerry felt he might actually be gone the checkbook came out.
