It's a win probably the best performance of Danny Whites career unfortunately his passer rating was almost 70 points lower the following week at Philly in the NFC title game.

That's true about Danny's performance. I think it's one of Drew Pearson's best as well. I will remember his TD catches in the end of that game too. Absolutely awesome. In the next game vs Filly, the D just couldn't stop Wilbur Montgomery whatsoever. I was crushed because Filly went on to play Oakland in the SB and Dallas had beaten Oak earlier in the regular season, IN Oakland

His only performance that may have been better was against Miami in 81 although not as much was on the line in that game. He passed for 354 yards and 3 TD's completing almost 69% of his passes. It led to a dramatic 28-27 victory. Danny had his moments just wish one would have come in a title game.

I was watching that game with my Mom and Dad and I thought they were done.

I left and went to my bedroom to basically cry and then my Dad comes in and goes get your *** down here and watch this game.

I said why...it's over?

He said I said get you *** down here.

Glad he did...cause I would have missed one of the greatest games in Cowboy history.
