I'd be willing to bet that at least some of these are teams trying to bait others to trade with them. A team in the late top 10 hears that another team in the upper teens loves Dalton, so they start rumors that someone ahead of that team loves him, too, hoping to entice a trade up.

I have read that Tennessee's interest is legitimate and that they'll take either Dalton or Fairley at #8.

Yeah, I've never even seen him play, or at least didn't pay much attention when FSU was on, but I really liked his attitude in that NFLN special with Mooch. Seemed like a good athlete, plus very attentive and smart. I liked his attitude more than Gabbert's.

i don't buy that entirely -- league guys have pretty solid sources and they do need to maintain relationships - I think we'd all be pretty surprised at how honest these guys end up being with each other over issues like this

Certainly Alualu last year...and he turned out well.

The difference here is that I'm not sure these teams actually have these QBs rated in the top 15. They are just panicking and don't want to miss out.

Locker, Dalton, Ponder, Mallett, and Kaepernick all could benefit.

lol well there goes Jason Garret's hopes have nabbing him in the second round. Andy Dalton is my fav QB in the draft, TCU is my college football team but top 15 is really high for him, if it happens that is great for him. As long as he doesn't end up a Skin.

I like Dalton too. But what is the difference between him and Colt McCoy (85th pick), for example?

Of course, it may turn out that Colt was undervalued..maybe even a steal.
