As always some interesting snap numbers…
  • Whatever we thought of Kevante Turpin as an offensive weapon- he had 2 snaps on offense.
  • Contrast that with Dennis Houston’s 39 snaps.
  • 2019 2nd round pick Trysten Hill had19 snaps on Defense.
  • This year’s 2nd round pick- pass rusher Sam Williams had 6 snaps.
  • Last year’s 2nd round pick Kelvin Joseph had one snap on Defense.
  • So our second round picks the last three drafts had a combined 26 snaps.
  • RT Terrance Steele had 69 snaps on offense- and 4 penalties.
Anything else jump out?

Houston could not separate or catch a cold.

Unbelievable that he had almost double the snaps of Fehoko.

Not using Turpin as WR was also a head scratcher.

At least try and use Fehoko and Turpin to stretch the zone defense.

And Basham had so many more snaps than Fowler + Sam combined when he was in danger of not making final cut is ridiculous.

Lol so our third round pick was inactive, and our second round pick gets 6 snaps when has below average pass rushers ahead of him, and our second round pick from last year gets one snap
Yeah, 3 our last 4 second round picks- 2019, 21 and 22- Trysten Hill, Kelvin Joseph and Sam Williams combined for 26 defensive snaps last night- and Hill had 19 of those 26. Hmmmm.

Sam Williams needs to take the majority of snaps away from golston and basham. Absolutely waste of a pick if he doesn't , let's see what we have in him

Cap boy thinks you only build through the draft, well then you need to do a much better job at drafting. Too many high picks contributing plus no trades plus not getting real players in free agency equals a bad team.

Things that jump out to me...

  • Houston is just not that good. He knows the offense, he may run the right routes, but scares no one.
  • Sam Williams should be on the field MORE. JOKE. The fact that Basham had 3 times the plays is an abomination. I saw on one of his 6 plays he was on Brady in like a second....flip those numbers please.
  • HIll is still a JAG. He made one nice play that I noticed where he stuffed a double team and tackled the rb. Other than that, it was a lot of blocker magnet and reach and fall down just missing plays, per usual.

Yes Demarcus Lawrence 60%, that's not enough. He needs to be out there 85-90%

our second round picks suck in general, except Diggs. Hill, Williams, Smith, Joseph, Gregory, and on and on and on.....not throwing Williams into the bust category, but we don't do well in second round.

and if you believe Turpin was going to get any meaningful snaps on offense, then I have a bridge in brooklyn I want to sell you...its really cheap.

Steele!! we like our guys. penalties and all, but at least you have to admit he is keeping tradition with the pre-snap penalties. Williams passed the batton.

People have been clamoring for Pollard to get more snaps. well, he got them last night and finished the 6 carries for 8 yards. His longest carry was 9 yards. Think about that for a second. His longest rush was nine yards and his other 5 carries netted -1 yard. Not to mention that he whiffed on just about every pass block he attempted.
