The Eagles have a few players that will be FA's after the Super Bowl that could help us in positions of need.

Milton Williams might be extended, or might not. There might be a team willing to overpay for the 4-yr DT. Over the past two years, he has averaged playing on 47% of the defensive snaps. He is a solid rotational piece that can start if needed. If he can be had for $4 million/year I'd get him. Osa, Williams, pray the light turns on for Mazi, and draft a big DT with the first or second pick.

Mekhi Becton, if I had to guess, will stay an Eagle. Roseman will figure out a way to keep him. But if not, we could take a run at him. I watched film studies of him and he has been a monster at RG this year. The position switch and Jeff Stoutland coaching has unleashed him. An interior of Smith/Beebe/Becton could be one of the best interior lines in the NFL, certainly top 10 at least. I am assuming Beebe will continue to develop. Bass, Hoffman, Guyton, Richards, and Steele can fight for the tackle positions, along with a 1st or 2nd round pick at tackle.

Our first two picks should be offensive and defensive line. Dak can't move anymore, so we have to keep him upright. Build the lines, build inside out.

Sorry but that is the exact reason it's too early to start looking at FA's.
And that is the exact reason why we suck @ free agency....We never look ahead. Plan ahead....or have any kind of contingency plan. It's always reactive....instead of actually building a plan going forward.

I wanted the Cowboys to draft Milton Williams but the Eagles got him before Dallas had a chance to pick him. The same thing happened with Justin Madubuike, except it was the Ravens selecting before Dallas.

But I think Williams is going to get a bigger payday than many people expect. I don't know if the Eagles will extend him or not. They have a lot of money pushed into future years and if they give Williams a 4 years deal it is going to add to that problem. With Carter and Davis already on their roster they may consider drafting a DT rather than res0gning Williams who will still be a rotational player in Philly.

I would really be surprised if Milton Williams could be had for less than 10m$ a year. And that would be the reason he doesn’t stay in Philly. If it’s like 6-7m$, he’s an Eagle

Lol. Milton would be a starter here
You realize Dallas has the draft to get the next all pro DT?

We never miss there.

jk

If Milton was on their radar they probably would have the chance to re-sign Osa Odiggy

I think we need Safety help more than anything else on Defense
Eberflus likes running 1 high safety and is familiar with Malik Hooker from their days with the Colts.

Look for Wilson to likely be cut, Bell moves into SS and Hooked is your single high safety

Hooker is terrible IMO

Liability in coverage and a below average tackler that takes terrible pursuit angles

Should work out fine

$4 million a year - you can at least triple that!

I would hope that Dallas address Parson contract right away, once they get that behind them the better
