TO and Roy Williams - I like TO on the field at times , but he's 33 yrs old, and he's got 2 years left on his deal IF he makes the roster next season, or we can cut ties at the cost of this season only. Myslef, I've seen enough drama from this dude, parties in LA ., tuning out the coach, questioning the kicker, etc and it's not the world v.s. TO - he brings 75% of this crap on himself.

Roy Williams is a paranoid blame deflector - bad media guy, bad Captain, bad , dreafullly bad cover man. We'd better off w/out him and Keith Davis.

And honestly , I wouldn't mind Parcells hitting the road either, his facial expressions are moronic and look foolish.

It doesn't get more knee jerk than this.

OH THE HUMANITY!!!
Knee Jerk? Do you need to see Roy Williams get scorched again on Prime Time TV? It's a weekly event like "24"

Roy Williams is a very good safety but he's not Ronnie Lott like so many here want to believe. TO is TO but he can still run JJ down giving JJ a 20 yard head start. I had no idea he was still that fast.

I think TO was just trying to ensure he got in the camera shot in the end zone :laugh2:
Photo ops like that can illicit superhuman efforts from him.

I guess you would cut the whole defense because they all looked like 3rd rate players. The sad thing is RW is the best cover safety we have and he isn't the greatest at it.

Lol. I didn't say WHY is was running so fast.

The good thing about a loss like this is the true ... well... less intelligent people show their true colors.

Gives me a chance to add to my ignore list.

Kind of like what you showed in the game thread.
I've never laughed so hard in my life.

"gimmick"
You'll never live that down.

I don't have to live a dang thing down. Anyone with two semi-working eyeballs could see Peyton's whole game plan today was based on gimmick plays. Obviously he knew they'd work against Zimmer's sorry D.

Gimmick plays? I wish we had a Gimmick O like that - you're misunderstanding Gimmick for Perfect Execution with deceptiveness.
It's about preperation - Payton shamed Parcells.

I'm gonna have to side with you on this one. One or two gimmick plays - maybe - but NO just whipped us in every sense of the word. They "executed" us, if you will.

1 or 2? Did you even watch the game?

Hell, if I thought my health could handle it I'd rewatch the game and post every single gimmick play they ran. Unfortunatley I'd probably die from "disgustedness" before halftime.

gotta love Rack spewing how Drew was dinking/dunking downplaying Brees' Marino-on-his-best-day performance. ROTFLMAO

well it's more sad than funny because we lost but some fans here expose themselves so frequently ;)

I agree, they played off their tendencies (with fullback traps) up the middle and attacked the perimeter of the defense with reverses and screens. It was smart for this game (saints have the speed to do it). Payton knows Parcells likes to punch you in the mouth, he moved around the ring and out-boxed us. Personally I think this works one time and I don't think it will work as well again.

On offense, they played our tendencies very well. Sort of like Gruden did in the Superbowl against the Raiders. If we meet them in the playoffs, we will need to change up some things and get little more creative. Payton knows Parcells doesn't like doing that because it can leave you fundamentally vulnerable. Parcells plays the percentages. I'm hoping Parcells went into this game not showing all his cards, knowing we might see them again in the playoffs. Although, I could be reading too much into it.

The Saints played an almost perfect game and their players believed in the game plan. I thought a key play was that reverse on 4th and 1. If Ware makes the play, that could have shaken the confidence in the game plan and the game might have taken a different tone. Maybe just wishful thinking.

We need to scrap the coaching staff and start over.

How Parcells & Co. could come into this game and NOT have us the least bit prepared still completely baffles me.

The only thing that would have done is make the final score NO 35 Dallas 17.

Good analysis here Haley94. I would like to also believe Parcells held some cards perhaps knowing we may see them again.
