On a 3-4 defense Ware was listed as an outside linebacker.

Both Ware and Howley were known for their speed and playmaking ability.

Ware was known as a pass rushing specialist that intimidated QB's. Howley was known for his innate ability to recognize plays and shut them down fast.

It almost seems like Micah Parsons is their genetically engineered love child.

I hear the fact that both these guys are now HOFers isn't lost on Micah. He can find no better blueprint for success than what transpired yesterday.

This whole defense will be dynamic. We have playmakers everywhere, Quinn will dial up alignments that offenses may have never seen, involving speed they cannot prepare to face.
This is my favorite time in building, new stars will emerge and nic names will begin to show.
We have all the juice of past stars once again.

I remain impressed by the Cowboys’ ability to draft good players on Day 3 of the draft. Players like Eric Scott and Jalen Brooks and Deuce Vaughn in the 6th and 7th rounds is impressive. Add in 6th round pick trade for Hankins, and two 5th round picks for Cooks and Gilmore, and this may be the best use of 6 late round picks we’ve ever seen from the Cowboys.

We don’t know what will become of Fehoko in the 4th, or Richards in the 5th, but the ROI on the other 3rd day pick’s already seems very high.

As for last year, it looks as if the Cowboys will have three. starters from the Day 3 picks of 2022 - Ferguson, Clark and Bland. Awesome!
