Several guys still on the board but none that the Cowboys really want and Detroit is enamored with Matt Corral QB from Ole Miss and desparterly wants him on a 5 year deal so willing to part with #32 and #34 for #24, #178 and Anthony Brown to get Corral.

While waiting to pick now at #32, Cincy comes calling about Dalton Schultz TE and Dallas agrees to trade him for #31, #95, and Jordan Lewis CB. Crazy but Dallas now has saved an additional $18 million in cap space for 2022 and added to the ever growing cap space in 2023.

Dallas trades a 2023 3rd to Jacksonville for first pick in the 4th.

1-31 Zion Johnson OG/OC Boston College - he can play LG, RG, and Center. At his pro day Dallas worked him out at Center so this could be the guy that initially starts at Center for Dallas. Believe Dallas likes him more than Green and then taking Raimann next solves the OL problem moving forward.

1-32 Bernhard Raimann OT Central Michigan - hoping that Linderbaum would fall to #24 but after his pro day have to believe he will be gone in the teens probably to Philly. Raimann is very athletic and can play left guard for a couple of years before taking over at LT for Smith. He is probably the most upside of any of the OT in the draft.

2-34 Travis Jones DT UConn - although not a 30 visit guy believe he would be a target as he and Bohanna could rotate as the run stoppers. Jones does have the talent to be similar to Aaron Donald and he strives to be like him. If even close, he would be a helluva player for us.

2-56 Cade Otton TE Washington - great pass catcher and extremely good route runner, a QB friend in that he is always finding a way to help his QB, gets open for good check down situations

3-88 Quay Walker LB Georgia - see him as LVE eventual replacement, great instincts, quick and good feet, solid tackler and very good at stopping runners, always getting to the ball

3-95 Sam Williams DE Ole Miss - Quinn seems to really like this guy who scouts have grades all over the place from 2nd round through 6th round, not much of a run stopper but can really get to the QB, probably plays a lot of RDE

4-1 Khalil Shakir WR Boise St - highly underrated player, high character, can make the contested catch, he will always give you 110 percent on the field, very quick in his breaks and excellent route runner

4-129 Zyon McCollum CB Sam Houston St. - has the length and height and speed that Quinn loves, he is going to surprise and good battle for a starting spot with Joseph

5-155 Joshusa Paschal DE Kentucky - a true football guy on and off the field, strives to get better, has overcome many things in his way to get better every year, leader and leader by example, see him as rotating with Tank quite a bit after some learning

5-167 Austin Allen TE Nebraska - fairly good blocker, huge red zone type target, could be the guy Dallas converts to RT in a couple of years, great football mentality, strong and willing to learn

5-176 Tariq Carpenter LB Georgia Tech - a safety converted to LB and much better than one would think, always around the ball and very, very good tackler, the new hybred type similar to Kearse

6-193 Markquese Bell S Florida A&M - definitely a Quinn type of guy that can play both safety spots, always gets the defense aligned properly, long arms helps with pass defense

UFA Aqueel Glass QB Alabama A&M - he might get drafted but a classic McCarty type guy to develop, great height, great arm, good instincts, could actually take over as Dak backup in 2022

UFA David Anenih DE Houston - great upside as a pass rusher, Dallas seems to have an interest since he was a 30 visit

UFA Malik Davis RB Florida - doesn't seem to be on any team radar except Dallas so McClay must see something in him, ST maybe

UFA Devin Harper LB Oklahoma St - more of a hybred type LB who has speed and good ball instincts but a bit undersized

UFA Luiji Vilain DE Wake Forest - has a good knack at getting to the QB, not sure how he fits Dallas

UFA - Jequez Ezzard WR Sam Houston State - great return guy and has ability to be the next Wes Welker type, can returns punts and kickoffs and very good at it, great speed and elusive

UFA - Big Kat Bryant DE UCF - long shot to make the squad but has plenty of upside

UFA - Sam Webb CB Missouri Western - a guy that has great size and length and could see him taking Goodwin spot on ST

UFA - Keaontay Ingram RB USC - a good sized RB with limited upside but could see him on the PS with a chance at a roster spot

UFA - Spencer Burford OG UTSA - former OT to convert to OG, chance to make PS and grow

UFA - Gabe Brkic K Oklahoma - with Dallas needing a kicker and he was a very good kicker in college

UFA - Blake Hayes P Illinois - an Aussie kicker who just might stick around on the PS for awhile
