I would hope this team has no interest in trading for a QB to scrape by until Dak comes back. With what we saw last night, this team isn't going anywhere this season, especially with Dak possibly missing 2 months.

It's obvious Dak has not played well since the Denver game (outside of a few games against scrub teams). And now it seems like he is injury prone. At what point does the organization start to panic on if he's the right guy for the job?

I would call about the availability of Tyler Huntley. I know its a long shot without a new deal for Lamar, but why not inquire? It's someone that would be serviceable but also has the upside to be the guy down the road.

If they trade for him and he plays well, it gives the fans someething to be optimistic about. If he doesn't, hes only under contract for another year and he costs basically nothing.

If we can waste draft picks on guys with potential like we have with jaylon Smith and Randy Gregory, why not do the same for a QB that looks like he could be a legitimate playmaker?

Tyler was the reason the Ravens missed the playoffs last season. He won one game and lost the rest when Lamar went out.

I think sometimes you just have to take your medicine. I don't think the Cowboys were going anywhere this year anyway so why invest in a clunker? It seems to me the Cowboys made a decision in the offseason to slow the roll this year. That's why they traded Cooper, cut Collins, let Gregory slip away. I mean they won the division, a weak division, they got mauled by the 49ers in the playoffs. They needed to add players not subject them. Obviously, for reasons I do not understand yet, they chose to cut payroll and then stand pat.

Wouldn't that be something if the Jones's did what they did for Amari Cooper? Trade a a first round pick and get Huntley...
