Smith is a lock. Bland is very likely. The rest are wait-and-see...Are we getting to the point where some really difficult decisions are going to have to be made?
Smith, Pickens, Bland, Ferguson......how many can the Cowboys afford to keep and who has to go?
I wouldn't answer that question yet. They have a whole other season to decide that.
Smith and Bland for sure. Ferguson can be replaced if he asks for too much. Pickens is auditioning for another team, we let him walk and hopefully he has a nice enough season to warrant a higher comp pick. Are we getting to the point where some really difficult decisions are going to have to be made?

All true. Yet they do not have a deal done with Parsons. The Cowboys have the third most players signed to a contract a past this season. The Cowboys currently have 30 million in cap space for 2025 and would have 10 million for the 2026 right now if they don’t do anything. The Cowboys have the money to extend Parsons, Tyler, and Bland this offseason then franchise Pickens to either extend him or trade him.
You pay Smith. 23 years old, All-Pro, no injuries, no weaknesses in his game. If you guarantee him 3 years of top dollar salary, there's minimal risk that you end up regretting that contract. Are we getting to the point where some really difficult decisions are going to have to be made?

You really believe that or is Jerry milking the extension for attention. CHill said on the Rich Eisen show that a contract between Jerry and Parsons is agreed upon but Jerry has to work out the details with the agent. It’s done. All true. Yet they do not have a deal done with Parsons.
I believe the deal is done when the agreement has been agreed to and signed. Working out details would indicate the deal is not done. You really believe that or is Jerry milking the extension for attention. You probably one of those guys that believe Dak and CeeDee weren’t getting their extensions. Be you dude.I believe the deal is done when the agreement has been agreed to and signed. Working out details would indicate the deal is not done.
Don't sign Micah and we save money and make this happenAre we getting to the point where some really difficult decisions are going to have to be made?
