Smith is a lock. Bland is very likely. The rest are wait-and-see...

Smith and Bland for sure. Ferguson can be replaced if he asks for too much. Pickens is auditioning for another team, we let him walk and hopefully he has a nice enough season to warrant a higher comp pick.

The staff asked Tyler to take on a leadership role. You gotta reward those guys sooner rather than later. Likely a four-year extension at 21mill/year. SB is likely around whatever the 5th year option is plus his 4th year salary.

The Cowboys currently have 30 million in cap space for 2025 and would have 10 million for the 2026 right now if they don’t do anything. The Cowboys have the money to extend Parsons, Tyler, and Bland this offseason then franchise Pickens to either extend him or trade him.

You pay Smith. 23 years old, All-Pro, no injuries, no weaknesses in his game. If you guarantee him 3 years of top dollar salary, there's minimal risk that you end up regretting that contract.

I believe the deal is done when the agreement has been agreed to and signed. Working out details would indicate the deal is not done.
