Decent card tonight. Not good enough to purchase, but good enough to roam the internets for a decent feed. Any recommended places to watch it online?

Oh, and Shogun and Silva both win by vicious KO.

Anderson just needs to move up to 205. It's been a long time coming, but this has to cement the fact that there is absolutely no one to challenge him at 185 and will continue to be no one who can challenge him.

Man, Silva is nasty. Makes me want to bring back by DWare/Anderson Silva sig. :D

Dude is on another level. Okami never even threatened, all this talk about his strength and his wrestling work with Chael and he had just one lazy take down attempt.

Why is Griffith still fighting in the UFC? He has no business getting in the ring with a guy like Shogun, that fight was a foregone conclusion in my mind.

Shogun is an absolute animal when he is healthy. The last few years, he has been more hurt than healthy. Unfortunately for Forrest, we saw the healthy side of Shogun.

Forrest is 5-3 in his last 8 fights, with his losses to Shogun, Anderson Silva, and Rashad. In that time, he has wins over Rampage (for the belt), Shogun, Tito, Rich Franklin, and Hector Ramirez.

Losses to Rashad Evans, Anderson Silva and Shogun is worthy of being cut?

Exactly.

Forrest does his best and he fights anyone. He's beaten Shogun before (albeit an out of shape, coming off an injury Shogun) and this time Shogun beat him.

Beyond that Anderson Silva is the best PFP fighter in the world, without a doubt. He's beaten anyone and everyone available at 185.

A move up to 205 seems inevitable, at some point, although so far he's not met any real threat to him at that weight class either. Although he's only fought twice there.

I could see some exciting fights at that weight class as well. And of course I'd still love to see a GSP vs. Silva fight at 185.

I'm actually kind of tired of Forrest's, "I hate my job," shtick he does before every fight.

If you don't want to fight, then don't.

You do realize that he is being sarcastic? Forrest is a complete jokester, and one of those people you have to take incredibly lightly.

Look up some of his Youtube videos of him outside the cage. Forrest is always cracking jokes, and being downright hilarious. Honestly, he's one of the best dudes in the sport.

Listen to him talk about the rumor of him fighting Jon Jones, and talk about what happened to him in the Silva fight ..

If Rua really is good then what the hell are they going to do about Jon Jones in the future? Heavyweight.

I think Silva/Chael Sonnen is going to happen, then GSP beats on Nick Diaz, then Jake Shields and after that they are ready for their catchweight fight.

Why even have GSP fight those guys?

He will totally and completely control both of those guys on the ground. And win a unanimous decision like he always does.

The only fight that matters right now for either of them is against each other.

Silva makes a mockery out of every fight he's in. No one is in his class technically or athletically.

Except GSP.

Also, I hope they bring a body bag to the Jones fight for Rampage. That is gonna be a bloodbath.

Dana has said that they are getting to the point after a couple of fights that it just has to happen. The only one thats makes some sense for Silva IMO is Sonnen. After that what else is there? So thats 1 fight. Dana must have had 2 fights in mind for GSP when he said a couple. Diaz is already scheduled so thats happening, I think he might want 1 more fight after that then they have Silva/GSP. But if GSP stomps all over Diaz then maybe they fast forward the whole process.

I thought GSP said that if they wanted him to fight Silva, they'd have to give him a year to gain the weight and train?

I don't think Silva is going down to 170, he hasn't fought at that weight since 2003.

They could do a catch weight, which would mean no belt at stake.

If you know he is being sarcastic and funny, then why criticize the guy for it? Forrest is one of the last guys who should even deserve the criticism his heart not being in fighting.

I'm just curious on what you're thinking here but why would GSP need to out class Shields a second time before they could set up the fight with Silva?

I definately get why you'd have Silva fighting Chael again, although I'd never give that roid user (Or hgh or whatever) another shot at a title. But that's personal opinion on my part.

Oh they're both obviously ready to set it up. I'm just taking dana's quote and trying to find another fight. You're right shields isn't even intruigung if they were to give him 2 fights. At least let a new/ young guy get a crack

If it's just GSP/Diaz and silva/sonnnen then I'm more than ok with that.

Yeah I agree there. I do believe the GSP/DIaz fight is set already, isn't it?
