UFC 139: Predictions

Anyone have any thoughts on the upcoming card? I'm really looking forward to the Henderson/Rua and Bowles/Faber matches.

I'll go with Rua and Faber because they're more well-rounded, but I don't really have a good sense of who is likely to emerge victorious in these bouts.

Dan Henderson is such an enigma. I love the guy, but he can look like a contender one fight, and then the next fight get owned.

Having said that, I'm gonna ride with him because he always has a punchers chance.

I've got Hendo (though I'm having a hard time staying strong to that pick) and Faber.

I also have a feeling that Wandi is going to pull off some magic and get a big W over Cung Lee in their fight. That one should be some serious fireworks.

Lee v. Wandi promises to be entertaining as well.

Shogun looked pretty dominant against Griffin, but we know what happens to those who get caught by one of Hendo's rights (Jake Shields being the one exception that I can think of).

Like Hendo, Bowle's also has a devastating right, so Faber would be wise to avoid it at all costs.

Gonna go against my better judgment and say Henderson, he's good enough to not get in trouble standing and is always one shot away from winning.

Vandy has been done for a few years now, he's running on fumes at this point but Cung Lee has never faced anyone this good before so who knows

This is the fight FOX should have had, might be the best fight i have ever seen. How the hell did Shogun even survive the first 3 rounds and how did Hendo survive the last 2?

There was a point in the 3rd or 4th round where Hendo dropped like four or five straight elbows on Shogun's temple.

Both guys dug deep and fought with tremendous heart. I've always liked Hendo but now count myself among Shogun's fans after that fight. That was one for the ages.

Hendo and Shogun was EPIC. That is one of the most amazing fights I've ever seen, if not the most amazing.

What a showing those two warriors put on. That was just flat out great.

Finally got to watch this event. Wow, what a great effort by Henderson and Shogun.
