Only saw the tail end of Machidas fight but thought the other main event was pretty good.

Good showing overall. And it was Free!

I enjoyed the fights. I thought it was the best UFC effort on Fox so far. Shogun's a warrior but he looks terribly old these days.

Agreed, three of the four fights were awesome. Wish Bader would have won though.

Shogun does look old. He needs to ditch the daisy duke shorts also as well as working on his cardio.

Really good fights, enjoyed this card quite a bit.

Machita was just too technical for Bader to have much of a shot. At least he went for it instead of sitting back getting picked apart the whole fight.

Shogun is just a warrior, its too bad he is never in good enough shape to put a full fight together. I really thought he was done after the 2nd round, he was dead on his feet, have to give him credit for digging down and finishing the fight.

Really good card I thought. I enjoyed the fights.

Shogun was Shogun. A guy who is great skills but can't ever seem to come to a fight in top fighting shape. The guys cardio is always in question, since he joined the UFC, and most of the time it's due to not being able to train properly due to nagging injuries all the time.

When this guy can be healthy while training for a fight, and go into the fight healthy, he's one scary good fighter. To bad that isn't seen enough anymore.

Shogun looks done, he could still put on a good fight now and then and the dude is a warrior but i don't think he'll ever be able to stay healthy long enough to make a serious run at another title

To me, Shogun has never looked like he's in great shape. He's mega-talented, but in my opinion, has always underachieved.

And for my $$$, you can't hardly beat a Joe Lauzon fight. It seems like almost every time I've seen him fight, the fight has been thrilling, whether he's won or lost. Nick Diaz, too.

was a great card top to bottom.
think Fox is getting it and putting together cards that rival the best PPV choices.

shogun: he is an explosive athlete. he isn't trained or meant to bang for 15 minutes. he fought 10 minute rounds in japan at 20 the same way he does now.

these 205'ers fight at around 220-225. they aren't going to compare to 155'ers for cardio or work rate. but they hit hard enough to break bones with one shot.

machida looked really impressive and fought at about 205. his quickness and counter-striking are as close to silva as it gets. love his unique karate style.

fights to make:
bader vs. vera --bader would probably win by GnP but would have to survive some Vera kicks and knees. neither is ever gonna hold the title but they are both still entertaining gatekeepers.

machida vs jones again.... bones has cleaned this thing out. he isn't getting beaten at 205. simply too good with jabs, elbows and his wrestling.

shogun vs henderson rematch.

this is assuming rashad really moves down to 185.
