Was talking music with my daughter tonight. We got to talking about lyrics that move us, etc. I brought up this video and song. I do not think this ever got the recognition it really deserved as a powerful rock song and group.

Most today know it as the intro music for a wrestler. They should know it because of how powerful it is.

Great choice.

The end of Donnie Darko. Jake Gyllenhall and his sister both were in it. Ignore the blond kid talking at the end, worst acting ever.

Ha! Hos, I play Cult of Personality on my guitar all the time. :)

Now, sit back and bask in the sheer bad***ness of this song. Played on a pink Ibanez JEM no less.

I saw them open for the Rolling Stones in the Cotton Bowl. November 1989.

I didn't get to see them, but my uncle and aunt saw them in Houston. They bought me a Steel Wheels concert shirt from that tour.

I thought the Stones looked old then... little did I know they would still be going strong over 20 years later. To be truthful, they didn't sound very good at the show I saw... at least from my seats.
