Since we are playing in LA against the Chargers after the SF game, does anyone know if the team will be staying in California for two weeks instead of flying back to Texas, only to go back to California the next week?

It would make sense to stay in California after the SF game, and I believe we did so years ago under Parcells as well.

One of the reporters at DC.com said they are returning home after the SF game. This question came up either on Twitter or on one of the podcasts.

Dude I don't think they've ever done that unless there's a good reason for it but I don't think so unless there was bad weather here or somewhere there they couldn't get back they've never in my opinion I don't remember anytime they've done that

They are flying back to Texas. It’s only about a 3 hour flight. No need to stay there
right a lot of these players have wives and children and or girlfriends or things they need to take care of here it doesn't happen that way from where my memory serves me the only way that would happen is if there was some kind of bad weather here at the airport or there but they couldn't fly and then it made sense to stay but yeah I don't know why somebody would think that one I don't think it's ever happened for no good reason anyway....

Plus the Chargers game is Monday night. It would only make sense to stay if the Cowboys were on the East coast.

The Cowboys record vs West division teams has not been good. Since 2016 they are 9-13 against AFC and NFC West teams. 5 of their 9 wins came in 2016 and 2017. Since 2018 they are 4-9 against teams from the West.

Might mean nothing but this year they are 0-1 against the West having lost to Arizona.

It did happen once under Parcells in 2004. They played at Oakland and SF in consecutive weeks and just stayed.

A little different though…..

Saying LA and SF are the same thing is like saying Carolina and New York are the same. By the time they fly from SF to LA they could be halfway back to Dallas.

Rather have them in their own facility all week especially with many players nursing minor injuries.

...with Jerry's Sonic Boomer. They're 45 minutes away from Texas. ;)..
