I love watching this tourney but ESPN is just butchering the coverage. Their are actual tennis matches being played but all they want to show us are the talking heads jabbering about matches already completed. Its mind numbing stupidity.

I'm rooting for Federer but I think Djokovic is playing too well.

Serena's $17,000 fine is less than 1/100 of what she made for being the runner up.

The chair Umpire should not have bothered with the stupid rules.

In a final no less. You swallow your rule book unless it so bad.

He intervened in the match when it was not needed.

I try to imagine what the people in the stadium and there missed because of that.
Not a big match chair umpire.

Gave USTA, which deserved it, and tennis a bad rep.

I thought the chair umpire really over reacted. But then Serena did not do herself any favors by her reaction. The reaction took away from the 20 year old that really played her butt off. Kudos for her keeping her concentration with all that craziness.

They both overreacted. The chair umpire gave Serena a warning for the illegal coaching (it is worth noting that Serena's coach admitted he was doing the act he was accused of). Serena should not have lost her mind over a mere warning especially since, you know, she was guilty.
