WOW.

I'm actually a little surprised that they did that.

yea me to after the whipping they gave Ok

that was a great game for OK haters

Why not?

They practically give the titles to whatever team they want, they might as well start taking them back when they please as well.

Def whipped Oklahoma good that game. I don't care one way or the other they stripped USC. It still counts. The game was played and that's the end of it.

But

Does USC win that game w/ RB not playing? Prolly so..

Does USC even get to the game w/o RB? Prolly no....

Reminds me of when Ben Johnson was stripped of his gold medal in 1988, he won the race and really that is what most will see in replays of same.

I love the way the NCAA does stuff, almost like Stalin when he had Trotsky's name expunged and then what Krustchev did to Stalin later on.

but johnson used steroids in an individual competition....not quite the same as cheating while recruiting in a team game. honestly both are wrong, but what johnson did was far worse. bush while a cheater off the field, played clean....johnson was a doper and thus his legacy is completely tainted.

.....and the coaches get away without penalty. Pete Carroll should have to answer for it, but we all knew when he left USC, something was coming. College football is so corrupt.

I love how mad people get when a school gets caught...as if it's not happening at every single big time school out there.

lol

I am sure you were being sarcastic there but I'm sure you know just how crazy some folks get about this stuff.

Heck the OSU stuff was hilarious watching all the OSU fans, prior to knowing what all was going on, trying to make it seem like their school never does anything that bad and that USC was the real evil.

Then it turns out that OSU wasn't so clean either (SHOCKER!!!!!) and now they're all defensive and butt hurt over it cause everyone is just being mean to another Ohio area sports team and their fans have already suffered enough.

It's gold I tell you.

I dare say, the NCAA is in worse shape than the NFL, even with the labor dispute going on.

So now we don't have a 2004 champion.

The NCAA going backwards is stupid and means nothing :bang2:

If the NCAA really cared it do things the right way but it is still about :showme:. So they put on these farces for punishment. No i do not think they should pay players and they will never be able to pay players due to title 9

they also stripped him of medals and records from events when he tested negative.

In the end, he was just the poor schlep who was caught, 6 of the 8 finalists had bad drug tests at some point. Of course when you bring that up to Carl Lewis he just says he won't talk about the past.
