Just a fun exercise, I will give top 5 names before and after our picks, to try to put together a realistic mock draft:

24

Before (19-23) Linderbaum, Dax Hill, Burks, Zion, Wyatt
24-Davis
After (25-29) Dotson, Booth Jr., Green, Ebikete, Dean

56

(51-55) Gordon, Kinnard, Winfrey, Salyer, McCreary
56-Carroll
(57-61) Taylor-Britt, Chenal, Tolbert, Howell, Watson

88

(83-87) Paschal, Cross, Ruckert, Asamoah, Bryant
88-Cameron Thomas
(89-93) Pierce, Hayes, Sam Williams, Otton, Joshua Williams

Based on these rankings, it appears they could go WR/OL in any order with the 1st two picks, Sam Williams as their 3rd rounder or TE.

Matt Corral will go 1st round. Not saying he should necessarily. but rookie QB contracts with upside are too hard for QB needy teams to pass up. The ultimate lottery ticket.

I've been studying Dane's board and I think that they will get at least 5 players in his top 100. Especially if they trade back from 24. I like a trade back with targets of Burks, Green, Dotson, Dean, or Winfrey. I would like to get 2 of the tight ends. Woods and Ruckert and the best kick returner in football Marcus Jones.

The Cowboys rarely agree with Dane or any other draft nicks. Don’t get caught up with the rankings. Just know the Cowboys will draft a guard, pass rusher, wide receiver, and tight end in some order on April 28-30.

All 4 of those will be in Dane's top 100.

I took Green, Tolbert, Sam Williams (exclusively guys ranked after our picks)

I'd be pretty damn happy with that

True but a guy like Sam Williams might have a second round grade on the Cowboys board. Remember Wright was not on anyone’s board when the Cowboys drafted him. Draft nicks had the Cowboys over drafting Osa, Ball, and Gholston as well. Most had the best value player as Cox.

Oh I know, I am just saying that they probably get 5 players out of Dane's top 100. They very well may get Jalani Woods at 56 and he is 98 on Dane's list. They might get Marcus Jones at 129 and he is 70 on Dane's list. This draft is very deep. There will be good players taken all over the place and there will be some good ones that are undrafted as well.

Dane Brugler is the best in the business in my opinion. I highly recommend his guide and a subscription to The Athletic.

I think Woods Is gone by our second pick. To much hype. I started looking at other tight ends. I like the UCLA kid. He has some juice.

Regardless of the need, it'd be hard to pass on either Corrall or Howell all the way down at pick 56

1) Jordan Davis
2) Darian Kinnard
3) Jeremy Ruckert

If I can take one from each group and call it a realistic draft, this would be my choice for Dallas to take.
