Whether you like him or not...Vernon Davis is a beast!

HT- 6-3 3/4
WT - 254
40 - 4.38
VJ - 42"
BJ - 10' 8"
3 Cone - 7.00
Short Shuttle - 4.17
Reps - ?

If some of you are actually SERIOUS about taking the BPA in the draft, then you have to consider this guy and what he brings to the table. I don't care if played TE in college. You don't run a 4.38 and play TE in the NFL....period.

You think #18 is too high?

It might be a bargain IMO.

How can we NOT take this kind of weapon at receiver.

He won't get out of the top 10.

Ditto that. However, if Parcells signed off on him and he did make it to our pick... I wouldn't be upset. No way it happens though.

He will not be there at 18. If he was, hell yeah. We could play a 2 TE set or use him as like the Skins use Cooley. Is it called H-Back?

He's as good as his numbers show. He was easily the most athletic person on the field during the combine drills. He is going to sky rocket come April. He'll be chosen in the top 6-10. He's is currently being touted as better than Gonzales, Shockey or Winslow when they entered the draft, and some are currently touting him as one of the most athletic TEs to ever enter the draft. I've never seen him play, I'm just repeating some of the things I've heard since the combine, so take it for what it's worth.

meet the next star entering the league...

davis is a beast. He is going to tear this league up when he gets here. Something just like Gonzolez, Gates, Shockey, ect. He has all the physical tools to be great in this league. It seems like he has a pretty good head on him also.

I say him play once on TV, did'nt do anything that really stood out to me, but thats probably because the Terps did'nt know how to use him...had he gone to a school like lets say Miami, or schools that know how to utilize athletic TE's he may be a household name by now!!!
