nice game today, mr. mexico.

:lmao2:

i used to be impressed while watching vick, but for a while now -- when the dallas defense wasn't making him look amazing -- i have thought how overrated he is. everyone talks about how he has changed the game, blah blah blah... well he isn't even the quarterback that randall cunningham was.

this is vick's sixth season, and he's not even getting close to 3000 yards passing. in cunningham's sixth season, he threw for more than 3000 yards for third straight year, with 30 touchdown passes -- and in that season he also ran for 940+ yards. vick hasn't thrown for even 20 touchdowns in a season yet.

if mora gets the axe in atlanta, then i hope the new coach is smart enough to trade vick while he still can.

These days I'm starting to think he's underrated, because just about everyone think he sucks now.

I don't care how many dislike him. 1000+ yards rushing for a QB is unreal and I for one am glad I got to see it.

I wish I had witnessed it.

If The falcons had a big time WR, with hands, Vick would have differnt numbers. But when you have recievers as inconsitent as Jenkins, and White, you passing game is gonna be inconistent. Is VIck, great no, but is it all his fault. No

Atlanta seems to be a black hole for receivers.

He broke Bobby Douglas' record...and he wasn't much of a QB either.

Looks good on paper, but it don't get you to the Super Bowl.

It takes a team effort to win the superbowl. Atlanta has more problems than just Vick.

Well when a ball hits a reciever in his hands, it should be caught.

When TO drops a pass, we chastise him to death.

But when these guys get passes in his hands, Its Vick throws to hard, it wasnt put right in there chest.

Please, does he make every throw, no, but he's not as bad as some would make him out to be.

i agree that it's a nice accomplishment. but when that's about all you can do...?

payton manning is having his seventh 4000-yard passing season; he has thrown at least 20 touchdowns in each of his nine seasons. vick hasn't had a single 3000-yard passing season, let alone 4000 yards, and not one season of 20 touchdowns (yet -- he has 19 right now) among his six seasons.

vick should be used like reggie bush -- to catch passes and run the ball, and maybe even to return kicks. he is just not very good as a quarterback.

See, this is scaring me because once again we agree. ;)

His top 3 receivers have a combined 19 drops. That's only 4 more than Owens. I'm sure between Witten, Glenn, and Crayton there's more than 4 drops there.

In other words, come up with a better excuse.

what's scary to me is that our list of vanquished opponents looks increasingly pathetic.

"So you beat the Colts, eh? Join the club!"

"Panthers? Ha! Who hasn't?"

"Giants? Did you play your rookies against them or what? why was the score so close?"

Teams that take us to the wire are summarily biche slapped by nearly everybody else!! Falcons/Vick suddenly return to Earth once the mighty Cowboy's D has exited the picture!

don't mind me,,,, I'm just venting after that lackluster effort by the gnats. Their fans deserve a rebate.
