Video from the stadium... crowd noise while on offense.

Just a guess but I think bb was joking.

And theebs, I know you defend the crowd like no one else but you cannot be happy with the complete idiocy of having to ask the crowd to be quiet when the team is in the redzone.

I have spoke my peace on the issue. No one cares what I have to say.

So I rest my case on that topic.

Yeah I noticed that as well in my section. I was telling people the same damn thing. There was even a couple next to us holding their hands to their ears when we cheered.

Nice hanging out with you before the game buddy... it was a good time.

Hope you had fun at your first game in Dallas! Good to get the win.

probably has to do with newcomers that wanted to check out the new stadium. no idea what's going on really.

I was there, and it is very true that the home crowd is quite dense concerning football. All that has been said concerning the crowd not knowing when to cheer is correct, and sad.

Also, there was a guy in a Romo jersey in front of me who jumped up and started cheering when the ref flagged Romo for intentional grounding. He had no idea what was going on whatsoever.

Yeah I had a great time (at sherlock's and at the game) the stadium is freaking awesome and I will make it back to the stadium one more time this year, the question is just which one.

Oh and if you're ever in Oahu let me know. Drinks are on me.

So you do or you don't think the WRs asking the crowd to be quiet is a problem?

Indeed I was. That should have been obvious to anyone with a functioning brain stem. Internet + sarcasm = fail.

I know you are a part of the crowd but that isn't any reason to just get all pissy and refuse to talk about it when someone says the crowd sucks.

People do have opinions.

Im not in any way being pissy, I am simply not interested in talking about it, I have had the same opinion since 2005, no one cares. So I am not interested in talking about it.

At the Giants game, I definitely thought it got loud in spurts. In my section, every single person was standing at times. My complaint would be that at Cowboys games I've been to over the years, the noise doesn't seem to sustain itself. It gets loud with six ticks left on the play clock, and then gets quiet following the play ... and right up until there are six ticks left on the play clock again. It also seems to take the urging of a few people in front for the copy-cat effect to kick in for the rest of the section to stand.

Now, I've never been to a different NFL venue during the regular season, so I have no idea if this is consistent with even the most passionate of fan bases. Pittsburgh, for instance, seems loud and rowdy. But is it really enough different there? Dunno.

The stadium was loud when we were on defense, especially at key times. I don't think that's an issue. It was definitely louder for the Giants, but it was still loud last night as well.

Those who say that the Dallas crowd can't be loud are living off of past reputation.

The issue here is us being loud at inappropriate times. I think this could be solved by using the video board to our advantage. There were times last week when the video board was used to "pump up" the crowd while we were on offense, which is stupid. A simple message of "quiet, offense at work" would more than suffice.
