Love the Brooking interview.

I'm really liking the way the Brooking and Sensabaugh signings are looking right now. Shoring up the middle of the defense was my biggest concern this off season, and with these two, it seems we've taken a step in the right direction.

I think Brokking was a much overlooked pick-up for us. Yes, he has some wear on him but he is still productive and still physical. Wade is familiar with him and he does know defensive talent when he sees it. This was a great move and one that I feel will be an improvement over Zach IMO.

One thing: Tinker claims that Ken Hamlin is now a SS and Mike (and thus Sensabaugh also) is at FS... What? I'm about 95% sure he just got that wrong like he does sometimes. Nobody has heard about Ken moving to strong safety, have they?

Im pretty sure Wade has said Ken will be playing the Strong but in this defense it really didn't matter which safety played Free or Strong.

me too, i think by the 9th game or so, he might be a leader in the lockerroom, something that zach couldnt do.

Im not saying that zach couldnt, just takes time to get the trust of the players etc, and zach's play was tailing off some by thanksgiving

yes i heard mention of it, wade talked about it at some point, awhile back;

right, thats what wade touched on awhile back; but he also talked about sensabaugh at strong and free safety too, dont remember exactly what was said, but he did touch on it at some point
