Here's Jason Witten and some of the Cowboys bowling for the S.C.O.R.E Foundation...

Why aren't these guys studying their playbook instead of going to charity events on THEIR free time?

Now do some of you guys see how silly it is when you ***** and moan that these guys don't spend every waking minute thinking about playing football.

Here's more info on Jason Witten and his foundation - Go Here.

This kind of activity brings a closeness between players and is good overall IMO.

BOWLING!? Shouldn't Witten be worried about catching passes instead of working on his handicap and trying to get Turkeys???!?!11/1!/1?

It comforts me to know that there's only one decent bowling stroke shown in that entire clip... this tells me that not many of the Boys waste too much time at the local alley... but I'm shocked, SHOCKED to learn that beer was consumed at this event...

Who ever heard of mixing beer and bowling?? That would be like trying to mix beer and golf...

:D

Seriously, my late brother Ron always saw bowling as a good excuse to slam a few brews... as a result, he'd give me a fierce battle the first game or two, he was pretty good... then he'd get tanked, and lose his stroke... then he'd get pissed off... one night, I saw him go 215/195/105 (something like that)... I swear, I'm not making that up... he was beating my like a drum the first two games, must have been like 75 pins up, but I ended up taking the third game by over 100 pins and thus won the set...

Ron was seriously apoplectic after that... I never could get him to understand that he couldn't bowl worth a hammered crap when he was hammered...

Good thing he's not holding a golf tourney.

His focus would be all out of whack.

Now do some of you guys see how silly it is when you ***** and moan that these guys don't spend every waking minute thinking about playing football.

to me, i would encourage all dallas cowboys players to go out together, build that togetherness. Just like a former dallas cowboys player said, you need to get out, during offseason and go out together, have fun together, and build that chemistry to get to know each other with trust etc.

Then, when the game is on the line, and you talk to a player and tell him, hey dont mess this up, do your job. Just like Bob Lily told Clliff Harris in the defensive huddle, were going to thesuperbowl, dont mess up.

I believe it was michael irvin that said, thats what you need to do together. Now witten did this DC, I encourage Romo to bring players together either for a picnic or go to some club, play pool, get to know each other and build trust and chemistry off the field as well. Then, when your back is to the wall, you know that person next to and you can encourage him and if need be, kick his rear end either in workouts or on the field if you have to.

Did you see what Strahan said today DC?
I just met Michael Strahan

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
I work at Newark Airport & one of my buddies escorts celebrities & athletes around the airport to their flights. He saw me walking by and introduced me to him as "the biggest Cowboy fan he will ever meet". Strahan said "That's cool".
I shook his hand & said "You guys killed me a couple of years ago."
He laughed and said "They killed themselves. Out of all three playoff games we should not have one that one. We were afraid to play them."I said "where was he when I was saying that to every Giant fan I knew after the game." (And living in New Jersey I know quite a few).
I actually never liked the man but have a new found respect for him. he was pretty cool.

To me, we should have won that game DC, now I dont put all of the blame on Romo, Crayton dropped 2 critical passes, and the offensive line stunk in the 2nd half, one when he was wide open so to speak to run for a first down, and the other one, when he hestitated a split second, if he hadnt hestitated would have been a touchdown and cowboys would have won that game.

Just maybe DC the cowboys didnt practice enough to get that timing down, Remember that some cowboys players went to mexico having fun. Right? Thats one of my points DC, they were thinking fun, not championship, and what did strahan say, they feared the cowboys, the cowboys should have kicked the giants rear ends that game, but no, we were all about having fun, instead of having our head on championship, but fun thoughts instead. Who were those players DC? And what head coach told them to go? instead of being together like Aikman, Woodson and others said they should have been doing in dallas for that big game? Hm, what head coach told them to do that DC?

Dang Miles and Barbie are better bowlers than they bare football players. Maybe they should consider switching proffesions.

First I want every player on the Cowboys down to my office on Monday morning because I will be removing their funny bones ASAP.

Then I will be going on a Pic-A-Nic with one Michael Strahan to discuss this talk he had with some guy from Jersey.

I will get back to you on all of this on Tuesday Joe.

:laugh2:

I'm changing my name soon, lol.

JWitt's foundation does amazing work. I saw several personnel from where I used to work in the video (not them, their kids) who must have been invited, if only I stayed working there....
