Wasn't that a double hit.. By Roy Williams and Darren Woodson.. When Roy hit em from his legs and Darren hit em in his upper body...

Darren launched himself at Jackson, spearing him while both were airborne from what I recall.

talk about a bad call, that was a clean hit
You know, I feel the same way. I can understand the flag because the ref could've had a bad view. But to be fined, they actually watch the tape!

100% clean hit..

i loved the way darren answered the questions about the fine he got levied..

" i'm not going to change the way i play."

i miss d- woody....what a player he was.

I still believe that it was 100% clean.

I remember the hit actually put Jackson in the hospital overnite in Dallas and at first, people were wondering if he would play again. Sure glad that he is doing ok.

I still get pissed about that hit...100% clean. That was the damn game and don't get me started on the dropped pass before halftime.

But, I understand why he was flagged. It was aggressive...hell, just plain nasty, and the receiver was out like a light. In today's NFL, that will not fly, but 30 years ago it would have been almost routine.
