I'd love to know how many, if any recognized the guy as the pic was up on the board. lol
Back in 1970 a movie production company from Quebec came to town to make a film. The town embraced them. Residents were used as extras. The mayor and other bigwigs were prominently featured in some scenes. The high school marching band got its fifteen minutes of fame.
It was only when the mayor and some other city officials were invited to the premier in Montreal did they realize they had been duped. The movie had an X rating. The scene where they were applauding the arrival of the vice president in a limo, from the steps of city hall, turned out to be them applauding something else going on in that limo, while the marching band marched on by, keeping the beat.
'Loving and Laughing' was the name of the movie.
