that was a very interesting call out by Broaddus. It makes a lot of sense why he snapped the ball so soon and why he might of taking the shot (thinking it was going to be a free play penalty). Doesn't excuse that he didn't try to go back shoulder versus in front on that play. This does go to show...so many times fans think they have the right response to a play and why such and such player/coach screwed up (me included), but not having enough information to truly make an informed statement. I see this so many times when a fan lays blame at a specific player, yet they have no idea what play is called or what is really happening on the field in real time ( I call this one out specifically for all of us armchair QBs/Mondy morning QBs that get the advantage of overhead shots...slowed down replays and multiple angles) and adamantly says player x messed up. Neber taking into consideration the speed o the game and the fact that 22 players are running around in each other's field of vision (I won't even get into never once does a fan give an opposing team credit for making a great play...only calling out how their player messed up). this statement goes for all 121 players on the field for any given play.

On the telecast you don’t see the guy running on late. Doesn’t mean it was a good pass but it at least gives some insight on what he was thinking. Dak isn’t that risky in the red zone area so to see him do that….makes sense if he thought he had a free play. Crazy the announcers didn’t catch it but were too busy focusing on reading Lambs lips….1

The dirty little secret how many players on offense missed the alert for the quick snap PLAY??

Prescott was clapping his hands like Garrett when Steelers DT was on our side of the Line of Scrimmage...

1. Beebe was late reacting snapping the Ball

2. Did CeeDee run the correct route on the alert call

3. Did Prescott try to do too much

In my opinion based on Prescott reaction after the pick, I think CeeDee Lamb ran the wrong alert route....

It looks like Dak was the only one aware which is sad if true.

Beebe wasn't late. The offense was just getting set. Any snap sooner would have been a penalty. There was no way to catch that guy offsides.

The same throw to the opposite side (Tolbert) was wide open.
There are always receivers open that quarterbacks don’t have time to see. How easy to see the tape afterwards and say oh I had another second and a half.

This doesn't matter, Dallas won.

If Dallas had lost this would have been different video, and rightly so.

:lmao: :lmao:

Have you ever played Football....

If the QB gives the alert (clap, sound etc) the Olineman set immediately and go on the snap..."was just getting set" isn't a Football term.....

But shocker.....you absolve the Rookie Center so easily. I wonder why.....

Let's finish this conversation after player media availability tomorrow :lmao::lmao:

Bottom line Dak is no vintage Aaron Rodgers. You need to have complete command of your offense and it’s clear Dak does not. Who is to blame? Everyone but Dak. It’s the NFL for not having a long preseason. Beebe for not realizing sooner he is a center. Everyone is at fault…including the refs and CD. Just not Dak.

Did you miss option No.3?

Therefore, doing too much at that point in the game is placing blame on Prescott.

What more do you Dak Haters want?

I love how people pick apart the one or two bad plays made by Dak and totally disregard the dozens and dozens of plays he DID make. To win the game, I should add.

The pick right before halftime was a bad decision. It happens. The pick later in the game was just a bad throw. It happens.

What also happened was Dak leading the Cowboys down the field to a game winning touchdown and the win or go home 4th down toss that won it. That's all that matters.
