We will see how this turns out but I'm trusting Quinn on this one.........perhaps we don't need him as much as some belief or Wag doesn't wanna be here unless we overpay. I'm close to saying forget him........

I like Bobby Wagner, but I’ve never viewed him as a 9x all pro.

Either I’ve been missing out, or the competition for LB hasn’t been high in the 2010s.

Not throwing shade, just genuinely surprised.

Tons of linebacker talent on the market. I do think they go youth tho with Clark and cox. For some odd reason I think that.

Hold up, so you think us "needing" a player plays any factor at all for the Cowboys?

We sign players based on this and in this order:

1. Costs
2. How marketable are you?
3. Will you help the team?

Could be Dallas needs to work with their own players and to get under the cap before they can start looking at any other players.

Not sure why so many are still so high on Wagner. He could be a progress stopper. He is not that difference maker many want or think we need. We just need good solid players and depth over one aging LB.

I would not complain if Wagner is signed, but not losing any sleep if he is not.

Because he puts an elite player at LB with Micah.

LVE was solid. But never anywhere near the talent of Wagner

I'd say you've been missing out. Probably something to do with him playing in Seattle.
And the fact that he was not the type to draw attention to himself trying to be a media darling, etc. That was Richard Sherman's job. Wagner just went about his work and constantly put up solid season after solid season. 11 seasons, 10 games missed.

That's fair.

Like I've seen him play and I think he's fantastic. But 9 all pro selections is more than Patrick Willis.

I just did not have him in that echelon, so it seems like I've missed a lot.

If the whole idea is to win a Super Bowl their gamble paid off and I didn’t text him more than 27 seasons of failure

Seems like the reports that Wagner wants to stay on the West Coast are valid, and that's ok. I still would like a veteran MLB good at stopping the run to bridge the development of Clark.

I'm high on Clark, Jabril n Harper. They just need a vet to help out and learn from.
