After watching so many traveling shows over and over i found myself starting to enjoy these 4k walking tours of different cities around the world. They last a few hours, i never watch the whole thing in one sitting, i just pick up where i left off. These videos are laid back and the person recording/walking doesn't speak which i like very much.

Enjoy!

I'm not sure this statement is for everyone, but when i travel i never use a travel agent for anything. If someone puts in the research/time you won't need any kind of travel agent.

I have nothing aganist travel agents and for some travelers that might be your best option. I like to do all of that work myself for myself.

There really are very few things that come close to traveling somewhere awesome and you never been to before. One day the clock runs out for all of us, and those of us who didn't do it will wind up missing their chance.

I like to do this kind of thing once a year if possible.

Can definitely go down the rabbit hole on these, could watch all day! I subscribed as I want to see more. I’m not sure if I like the zero narration or not, I’m thinking I would prefer a little more narration so I could understand better what we are looking at. All in all great stuff!

I thought the samething at first. Sit back enjoy, use your eyes to learn everything. Once you adjust it will get smoother for ya. If you know these cities a little bit already that will help also.

In the Rome video i usually know exactly where he/she is at any given time since i been there twice so far, other cities are just as new to me as anyone else.

It’s something the wife and I need to start doing, Italy definitely on the list first up. Have travelled the states but Europe have only been to Russia so definitely much more needs to be done. List some of the places that you have travelled to

Europe only Croatia and Italy so far.

Croatia 2003 and 2006. Mostly just stayed on one Island with little venturing out.

Italy 2018 Nov and Italy 2019 Dec. Pompei day trip - Very little Naples - Majority of time i spent in Rome both trips, i love Rome, Rome is overwhelming - Day trip Pisa/Florence - Day trip to Assisi, very nice.

Italy is tons of movement, be ready to do alot of walking. Get in shape before hand or book a few extra day/nights if you need to pace yourself/elderly etc.

Planning 28 nights 3 Countries - Israel 7 nights - Italy 12 nights total, 5 Rome & 7Milan, lots of day trips out of Milan, Lake Como, Venice, Genoa, Florence again. - London 9 nights, will meet up with my Brother coming in from NYC for this last leg. Will do Paris day drip from London.

2022 hoping for a Alaska inside Pasage Glacier Bay cruise.

I been to quite a few places in the US also, dont want to go through them all.

Very cool. Meeting up with your brother should be fun. He’s in NYC, where are you based out of?

If your going somewhere and have done all the research on planes trains hotels etc, these videos give the traveler a great heads up on the walking part of these travels and getting fimiliar with the city/area.

Rick Steves might sound corny/cheesie sometimes but the dude has been everywhere, before i go to any forgien city i always see what he has to say about it. If your going somewhere and don't want to miss any landmarks i'd check in to see what he says about the place along with quite a few google searches.

If going to Europe remember to take a few high speed trains, America has nothing like it. You can get very far very quick with high speed trains inside Europe, they cost a pretty penny but they move quick, over 200mph most times.
