Was Hurd open or covered?

Right after Romo had his thumb hit, he threw a pass that was way over the head of Sam Hurd in the end zone.

Was Hurd open, and did Romo throw that ball away on purpose or did it just slip out? From the angle i saw it looked like it was a TD, but i couldn't really tell.

Looked like a tough pass, but he woulda had to throw it in about the same spot as "the catch" for Hurd to have a shot.

He looked wide open to me. ITs a shame Tony was so OFF in that game. He had guys open all day long. We only needed a couple plays to win that game.
The early bomb to TO or the early pick six dropped by Newman come to mind.

Wish Hurd could have brought in that second pass of the game.
